Excellent for buns
These are really great bobby pins. I almost returned them because they are super expensive to get only 12 of them, but they are made in the US and looked like they would work quite well so I kept them. They really are excellent, four seems to be the magic # to keep my bun in place all day with no hairspray or elastics. Just taking a star because they are $$$, especially knowing I will lose them quickly as I do all my bobby pins, taking them out different places, etc.

They can slide out.
I liked the size and color. Mostly works on fine hair but they do slide out. I would still consider buying again.

Good quality but not very flexible. I predict that they will last a long time. I got the brown pins and I have dark blonde hair. They blend in with my hair perfectly.
