It appears the dominating business approach is the only approach he knows.Tessie is unaware of Essex's plan to capture her heart & agrees to help him improve his communication style with his employees. Her success, though limited, led to the beginnings of "something."This is a MUST READ.

I love the story line.I like that they didn't dive right into the romantic part.The author let it build but, I wish he would tell her

I disliked the ending and far the book to to own and own without coming to a reasonable end. I feel compelled to continue reading to find out what becomes of this relationship. I reserve my recommendation of reading for fear of a repeat.

OK. Not what I was expecting when I opened the book, but it was good. Now I'm all for a new look new you, but essex attitude went straight to his head. He really need to speak to a therapist. Apparently he is still harboring feeling from when he was younger. He has a lot of misplaced anger. And if Quinn was his high school crush, why not tell her or give her hints about who he was. Ugh, can't wait to start on book two

This is a new Author for me. So I wasn’t sure what to expect. I can say I’m liking the story to this point. Quintessa and Essex are something to behold. Not wanting to give the plot away, I’ll just say. Read this book.

Essex was really rude boss with A secret crush hes had since high school. Tessie has just been living her Life she can when her boss start to fall for her. I am excited for her to see what type of chemistry these two really have.

I've missed romance novels like this. This book took it time building up to the passion and left me in suspense for part 2. It's a wow for me. I would like to know more about Quintessa, though. Her past and why she was staying with her white friend instead of her parents? Besides that, this book was funny and romantically mysterious.

I’ve always enjoy reading Tina Martin’s books. They start off with a slow burn, I like the internal dialogue the characters have with themselves. I just hate that I have to wait for book two.😕
