We have a BOOS cutting board which is very heavy and these risers work great for that. With a lighter cutting board it does feel a little less stable so I recommend using it with a good heavy cutting board. I bought this to help with neck pain while cooking and this definitely helped with that!

I have one of those thick, heavy marble cutting boards and it has set on my kitchen counter for years with nothing underneath it. I hated having to move it to clean because it is quite awkward to move and it tends to sometimes stick to the counter.I saw this and thought it might be the solution to my problems - and I was right!!There are 2 boards in the box and they come with the little spots already on them, on both sides, for keeping counters and other surfaces from scratches and things like that. All you do is just put your board on top of these and position it how it needs to be. Done.Believe it or not, this has made my kitchen work much easier!! I never thought that just a couple of inches could make a difference, but it has. I can now clean underneath my cutting board much easier, and I no longer have to kind of stoop when I'm using it to cut/chop up something! Yes, I'm kinda tall. They keep the cutting board in place and they don't slide around on the counter whatsoever.I could never imagine how much of a difference something like this could make, but I am very happy I found out!!! I definitely recommend you try it out for yourself and just see how easier things get for you!!

These anti-slip bamboo cutting board risers are helpful in keeping my cutting board in one place and keeps it from slipping.Normally, my cutting board sits directly on the wooden table and it can sometimes slip, especially when using a cleaver. These well-constructed wooden risers each have 4 rubber grips (2 on each side) to keep a firm grip on the surface. It holds my heavy teak cutting board in place nicely.The risers have the additional function of raising the board up about 2 inches which is perfect because the table I use my cutting board on is slightly lower than I would like.
