Brilliant. Midge season in Scotland can be miserable. This makes things a bit more tolerable.

This hat-net works a treat. The rigid brim holds the net away from your face, making it much more comfortable the old close-fitting types; it also provides better vision as well as breathing. The closure around the neck seems to work well keeping midges out. It is light-weight and comfortable to wear. It's the best thing I've found so far to keep the clouds of midges away while working in and around the vegetation where they swarm. And the price is quite reasonable.

Collapsible broad brimmed hat with an integral net. The whole thing fits into a small pouch about 10cm diameter. I have not yet tried it in the field but the quality seems good - it would have to be a determined midge to get into the net. Video review attached.

Did it's job. I looked like a right plum wearing it, but a plum that wasn't bitten to buggery! A worthy bit of kit, well made and easy to use.

Great quality hat and netting. Get eaten alive by mozzies and no see ums every year. This is the answer to sitting out early morning and dusk. Folds up easily and is very lightweight. Very pleased

Great fit on my 59cm noggin. Just remember to lift the net before blowing your nose - yes, I forgot. Totally midge proof, great product and half the price of some similar items. Self-deploying system for quick set-up, packs down nice and small too. Would recommend.

This hat honestly does a lot more than it promises and has been a lifesaver when working out in the garden and the farm giving me a nice respite from being eaten alive by flying midges and other insects. The hat itself is actually quite nice and feels like a hat first and then a mesh holder second which is ideal. Folds up very compactly and is so light you wouldnt notice you have it in your bag

There’s nothing wrong with the quality of this, but the netting could do with being a bit longer. Certainly for me, unless I have a very high collar the back of my neck is exposed.

This is great for people who have small heads. If you are someone with a big head you will not be able to put the hat on properly and it will just be sort of floating on top of your head. Getting the item back in the storage bag is a struggle. If you are not sure of your head size it is better to buy the other product made by the same company which is just the netting without the hat.

Questo cappello offre un'ottima protezione dal sole ( la testa è larga,copre anche il collo) ma quel che più importa forse è che offre un'ottima protezione da tutti gli insetti! È facile da indossare,da chiudere alla base del collo e da ripiegare se si vuole conservare nella custodia originale. Personalmente lo uso per lavori di giardinaggio e nell'orto!!!! Consigliatissimo!
