what are the dimensions of this item

Sorry I do not know the dimensions, I just bought it as a garden tap with double check valve.As far as I am aware, all these taps look similar, but this particular one has a double check valve to prevent water re-entering the mains pipe from the outside hosepipe.

what do i need to connect this tap to a hozelock system

The nozzle on this tap unscrews to allow an ordinary 3/4" Hozelock adaptor to be attached.

Does it drip unless fully opened? (My old one does, and some new ones do to, I understand)

No drips with mine. I did have a seepage from the screw on housing but tightened it up and have no problems now.

can i connect hose as water feed to this tap

Hi, It is possible but you would need to use some adaptors to convert the hose pipe to 1/2" female fitting. Hozelock have adaptors available for example product code 2041. Please double check the diameter of your hose before purchasing the adaptor. Kind Regards,
