Go to Heaven: A Spiritual Road Map to Eternity

I bought this for my own use because it seemed to complement Sheen's "Peace of Soul." I was tickled by Sheen's idea of telling somebody to "Go To Heaven!" instead of saying "Go To Hell!" I gave my copy to my brother for his birthday to reconcile with him because we had an argument in which I told him to go to hell. He was delighted and said it would be good for when he goes on a night shift. Will be buying another copy for myself. And someday, I might try yelling, "Oh, go to heaven!" instead of "Go to hell!" just to see what kind of reaction I get. Will update my review when I read the whole book.

Fulton sheen is a deceptive author, he starts you on a journey that takes you to a better version of yourself without realizing how you got there till you have arrived usually by the close of the last chapter .You want to be, you try to be,you pray to be worthy of all you have been reading but only saints have perfected spiritual life. And then you see it, you are being called to be a saint. Keep reading Fulton J. Sheen will guide you.

The title of this book caught my attention because it is the opposite expression of what we usually jear.

The explanations are clear. Fulton Sheen brings light and understanding to Biblical concepts. I could have read this book in a day but chose to read it slowly. Several times I had epifinies.

Sheen at his best! The chapter on suffering is especially helpful to make sense of why we are given an opportunity to offer our sufferings for others. A book to read and re-read to truly get all Bishop Sheen has to offer.

Bishop Sheen's Book gives us something to look forward to(Heaven).His description of the pathway for each of us to follow leads to our goal(Heaven).I highly recommend this book.It gives us Hope.

This reads like he is talking to you, which leads me to believe this book started as homilies or talks he gave. Well worth your time.

Very interesting to view the opposite of what you usually hear, “Go to H—-“. Our goal on earth is to help each other get to Heaven, a positive action!

Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s books are always a good and inspiring read

So relevant to the 21st century even though written in the 70's
