Magnesium Chloride Flakes 10kg tub

This really is a plastic bucket with a re-sealable lid, filled with 10kg of magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2) flakes. As such it’s a large, heavy item and you will need sufficient space to store it in the bathroom or other location. You scoop the magnesium flakes into the bathwater and then soak in it. The bio-science is inconclusive, but it’s accepted that magnesium is a vital mineral for health and especially for good immune system function. Modern city lifestyles, stress and processed food can lead quickly to Mg depletion. Soaking in MgCl2) flakes is certainly therapeutic & relaxing and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and fresh. Since we started using it a few weeks ago, we both sleep more soundly and wake up refreshed and full of energy. One caution: if you leave the lid off the bucket, the MgCl2) flakes absorb moisture from the atmosphere (especially in a bathroom where the air often fs full of moisture) go hard as a rock, sitting in a pool of milky-coloured liquid. This doesn’t affect the Mg chemically but changes its consistency when handling it. Also be aware that if you use this product regularly, then over time you’re going to accumulate a collection of empty, lidded plastic buckets! Verdict: good product and very good value.

1kg tubs I purchased before were fine but 10kg tab came split and the crystals went everywhere. Amazon refunded me without any quibble and I hope the seller will look into the packaging and discuss with their courier and tell them to be more careful in the future. The flakes themselves are great, I dissolve them in water and feed to my horses, my husband does the same for the cows. Good stuff, helps prevent staggers in cattle and laminitis in horses.

The tub was split, possibly because it was packed on its side and since then I have ordered these flakes in a sack. The flakes themselves are a bit oily and are great for use in a bath. Just add a few drops of essential oil and pamepr yourself. It is especially beneficial for those with drier skin and I wonder if it would be good for those with eczema.

Arrived packed in a box with brown paper to pad out the interior, in perfect condition; no problems with the container which is sturdy. The lid is a good seal, so I am very happy with the tub. I have bought magnesium in the past in a 25kg bag which was very unwieldy so although it costs a bit more per kg, this tub size is much easier to handle. I am sure the product will be great.

Great product, this is the 3rd purchase I have made with this company and for these flakes. I do lots of sport and they are great an easing my aches and pains. When this runs out I’ll be back for more.

Having had showers not baths for years and years, I'm now having warm/hot magnesium baths regularly due to osteo-arthritis in my hips - it helps an awful lot, very soothing and gives some lasting relief. If I have a bath last thing in the evening, I usually sleep much better.

Iv used different brands of magnesium chloride, this product is not great, very poor value for money.

Possibly a placebo but I love this stuff. I have shocking cramps in my feet and legs at night and this as well as a magnesium supplement does the job. My husband uses it too after exercise.
