Weird global projection. Not the usual mercator one. Pretty poor info on the map. I bought it as the size was right for me, but replaced it almost immediately.

A perfect classic map at a GREAT PRICE. This map is a standard size too which made it easy to go to Michaels or a craft store with standard size poster frames that are very inexpensive. Having a world map in the house satisfies that "where is that?" question when reading something in international news, and gives a great context perspective. It is most important to have this for your kids. The world is so small now; best to know your way around.
