Gorgeous lava lamp
The colours are beautiful, well made and well packaged.Takes me back to my childhood, looks great and I find myself watching this rather than the tv.

Well priced and colourful.
Not as solid as some of the more expensive brands but well made and a great colour combination with the water and wax. Some combinations are too dark and therefore not that bright.

Two lamps, both with different quality issues
The first lamp I ordered came with a dink in the lower part of the stand as pictured. During packaging they put the 13A socket inside that part, so it looks like something that happened in the factory. However the return and refund was hassle free, so I ordered another.The second lamp came with scratches on the glass - see circled photo attached. Even rotating the glass does not hide them - I can see them through the lamp.Edit: I contacted their customer services directly and Ross from Nova Lamp got straight back to me and sent out a whole new lamp. That one arrived and is perfect. Great customer service.I have to say of all the lava lamp designs this is the most modern. I love the clean lines and that, unlike traditional lamp shapes, there is no visual distortion as the blobs rise.The stand is solid; the bottom and top of the bottle have recesses that fit the stand and cap such that they closely interlock as one unit when together (one reviewer said that the bottle could be dislodged from the base - this is not the case, it would have to be lifted out a fair way first, it's quite stable).It also doesn't get as hot as other lamps I own, 50C vs 60C on others.The trouble is - now I want the other colours...

Its a Lava lamp
Never had a lava lamp before so was little surprised with the assemble but it would appear common for lava lamps. It works well and my daughter is very happy. It does take a while to work (but this is common). My only compliant is the lamp base and lid dont have any fixings so it would be easy to knock the main glass part and it would start leaning to one direction. Not the end of the world but would have expected better for a £40 product. Happy with everything else though !
