I like quality tuning machines and these are exactly that. I replaced the tuning machines on my Harley Benton Strat copy. They are about 10 times the quality of the machines that came with the guitar. I had to use a step drill bit to widen the holes on my head stalk but now that they are in they look fabulous! They add a lot more stability to the tuning of my guitar.

I purchased these to replace the tuners in my Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster. It required enlarging the tuner holes to 10mm. If you are not familiar with doing that I would check out some YouTube videos for the best way to to it without damaging your finish head stock. Once installed they worked great and I have had no problems. So far I am very pleased.

I put these on my Fender Malibu Player and I really like them. They're the same style as the factory tuners with the screw holes between 2 tuners, so I didn't need to drill any new holes for that. The shaft was slightly wider than the factory tuners, so I did have to use a 3/8" drill bit to widen the existing holes on the headstock. The locking mechanisms work perfectly and the turning ratio on the tuners is consistent. The guitar stays pretty close to in-tune. It usually only goes out of tune if there's been a change in temperature. These are good looking tuners that do their job well. They're just as good as many tuners that are 2-3 times the price.

I recently purchased a color shift guitar body to build a strat-style guitar, and these are perfect with it. I am thinking of using a mirrored pickguard, so between the chameleon hardware (I also have the tremolo in the chameleon) and the color shift guitar that shifts from teal, blue, glowing green and an occasional glint of pinkish light reflection, I think I'm going to have to call it my Unicorn Guitar. ;)

The low gear ratio 15.1 and the slack on several of the keys, is a hard lesson well learned!! Make sure you always buy 18.1 or 21.1 tuners. Low gear ratio ones are extremely hard to tune, and the quality of these so-called "Vintage Strat Tuners" is very poor!

I really like these tuners. They're of really nice quality, and in terms of design, they combine the best of both vintage and modern designs. They look fantastic on my Strat project.

These were a perfect drop in fit for my Squier mini jazzmaster . You just need to drill some 1.5mm pilot holes for the screws. Be careful not to get the nuts cross threaded, try dry fitting first to ensure all is well then go ahead and install. They’ve improved the tuning stability no end along with a little nut sauce in the nut slots and most important of all fixing the over tightened screws in the bridge by inserting cocktail sticks in the drilled holes and refitting the bridge.Also I love the look of these relic tuners, it gives the whole headstock that vintage vibe.
