The seal unscrews completely from the external part, eliminating any hidden crevices where gunk can accumulate.In terms of functionality and design, this tumbler is worth every penny. My initial impression of this product was wow. The packaging is as sleek as the product itself. After comparing different bottles, I ultimately saw Bobber and loved it's sleek style. This bottle looks mature and built to last. It's also a great on the go size that fits perfectly in my cup holder.The silver matte bottle I bought for my son who attends IU. I was looking for a an insulated bottle that isn't too heavy, and that he could easily carry while walking on campus. He said he likes the look of the bottle and that his coffee stays hot while walking to classes, and throughout his lessons.If you're looking for an insulated, stylish bottle this is the bottle for you! I think we will become a Bobber family in no time.

My husband got this as a gift for me. And it's my favorite cup. Keeps my coffee hot longer than I need it. And keeps my iced tea cold for hours on end. I definitely love this cup. So much so we got him one... He takes it to work and uses it on daily basis. It's really a good cup it's worth the money. Glad we both got one.

Using it daily, but also have a thermos and a zojirushi. The other two keep drinks hotter longer.It's wide top adds versatility, but likely is a culprit in heat loss.Still this mug or cup is much better than all others I've used except those two already mentioned, which comprise about 10 others from starbucks mugs to yeti and others.It's not quite one-hand useable, which is a bit of a downside. It's possible to open, lift and drink, set back down and close. But hard to lift and open then drink and close, as it's hard to hold and operate the opening mechanism, but not impossible it depends on how tight it's closed, and this is never an issue with the thermos or zojirushi mugs.The thermos works easily both ways one-handed. The zojirushi is one handed easily but the flip top takes a bit of getting used to and it's got a narrow top limiting versatility.Regarding versatility, as an example, an Aeropress fits right on this cup, as well as the thermos cup, but not on the zojirushi.Except for it's mild heat loss and not quite one-handed ease of use, it would be 5 stars.

This travel mug does what it promises. I have ordered the yellow one - beautiful shade, not too bright, yet joyful. It doesn't leak and it is very easy to wash. (The 2 parts of the lid can be washed separately.)Perhaps if it had an anti-slip type of grip, like a detachable rubber band... would have made it even easier for me to hold (I have rather small hands), but that is subjective.Reliable travel mug! I am happy with the purchase!

I like that it’s a good size for me and easy to grasp. Keeps coffee hot, spillproof, fits in car cup holder. Sipping lids works great too.
