Lightweight and minimal
Fairly straightforward assembly, but your bike, and any mounting points it may have, can make fitting a bit fiddly. Sturdy yet unobtrusive once fitted.

Not universal...
This is a decent, light rack that will suit most bikes, however there are a couple of downsides. The first was the vent holes on the inside of the tube (a by product of manufacturing) had sharp burrs and I skinned my finger on one. Had to file them down. The next issue is the stays are far to short for a ladies 700c bike, the rack would be at a terrible angle if you tried to use them. I instead manufactured some new stays from 8mm aluminium round bar. The originals are 7.8mm so you will need to file out the clamp brackets on the rack a wee bit. With these modifications it makes a good light weight rack that seems decently strong. Fits standard panniers fine. Plenty of room to fit mud guards on 700x42c wheels.

Strong but light pannier rack
A strong and stylish lightweight rack. It was fairly easy to fit although on my road back I had to add P-clips as there were no fixing points at the front on the seatstays.

Easy fit back rack
I found this rack easy to fit and it is very sturdy.I fitted it in around 20 minutes with the very easy to follow instructions.

Solid with a nice finish.
It is possible to use it with a Boardman MX comp, but it had to be tweaked a little and the seat stays were too short so had to be straightened out, it appears to be intended for rim brake frames that have a taller seat tube and a top tube that is horizontal or as near as. It would of been simple to install if I had the right frame type and as for VFM well I got it from the Amazon warehouse at a discount.

Neat minimal styling
I was looking for a suitable 'Black' back rack for my Electra Loft for several months. It had to work for me, light weight, small and uncluttered, yet good quality, aesthetically pleasing, sturdy and no 'silver bits. I didn't wan't to pay the silly price of £89 that Trek was asking since discontinuing their original matched accessory which they sold for a reasonable £43... I settled on the Tortec Tour Ultralight which I was more than pleased with as it suits the bike and my top bag fitted a treat.Following several uses I came to realise a massive down side to its minimal styling is that there is no rack frame cross brace or 'holed' bracing plate section low down to just above were the rack secures to the frame by the wheel hub. This detail seems to feature on most every other rack that I've seen and although I'm not certain that it detracts from the integrity and strength of the rack I can confirm that it doesn't provide suitable anchor points for bungee straps to attach to. Sadly' I'm already thinking of replacing it and would not recommend this product because of the lack of this essential feature which in many circumstances renders the item not fit for purpose.

Good value pannier rack
Very good, lightweight and strong rear pannier rack. Unfortunately, I never received my order from the Altura (Amazon) store, so had to order it again elsewhere.

A sturdy rack, but fit might need some fettling depending on your bike frame.
This is the second one of these racks I have bought, the first, now 4 years old does great service on my own bike, a conventional steel framed mens touring bike, sturdy and robust capable of taking large touring loads, whilst also being acceptably light. This one was bought for a womens hybrid frame. The rackneeded the frame to rack stays to be extended by about 150 mm in order that the rack would mount flat, which required them to be cut and filed so a section of alloy tube of similar diameter be bonded between the two ends. If you are happy with that kind of diy then this rack will fit less conventional frame geometries very satisfactorily. The rack cleared the hydraulic brakes on the bike and with only gentle spreading fitted the rear mounting points. (9 speed shimano block).
