Fit 1984 Ford F150 5.8L
Worked perfectly. One thing to remember is to clean the firewall of any grease dirt or rust. The solenoid is grounded by the firewall. If you don't do this, you will have the starter not want to stop turning. The solenoid must have a good ground to the truck or car.

Easy job, makes a big difference starting
Put on 1995 F150 after dealing with problems starting and even draining the battery. A cheap solution and very easy replacement on firewall.

Amazon says this does not fit. But it has the same part # as the factory original one I took out of my 2001 ford f150xl 4.2 V6. The one Amazon recommended is very different and broke upon installation.
