This is a lovely instrument. I am intending to try and teach myself to play, as I've wanted to learn for years. I didn't want to spend out on a beans new one, in case I fail miserably. However, this one is as good as new, for half of the price.The service was excellent, and it arrived within 2 days, well ahead of schedule. I can't fault this purchase, excellent all round.

Didn't have the blow to play it. Saxophone is easier.

I used to play the cornet in my youth and recently decided to take up playing again as a hobby at the grand old age of 52. This cornet is excellent for the price. It plays a very clear, bright note and is well crafted. With the rose brass lead pipe it is also a very attractive instrument. I am so pleased with it that I find myself playing almost every day, as it makes such a lovely sound. I can strongly recommend it as a good quality beginner / intermediate instrument, or for someone like me who is returning to playing after many years.

I used to play in a Brass Band, but had to give up due to being diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. I spoke to the Hospital Physiotherapist and as a result purchased the Cornet with a view to maintaining better control of lips. I have fouond that the Cornet has been a help.

OK for younger children just learning to play, but not up to concert standard. I find this instrument harder to play nice round tuneful notes than a higher value instrument. Makes for an impressive and shiney toy, but not for a serious player.
