Not What They Used To Be
I have changed many a toilet seats in my life. Never have I had difficulty with the bolts or plastic nuts. These are the absolute worst!!! I needed to replace 1 bolt to have a functioning toilet seat until my new one I ordered from Amazon arrived. I hope the bolts on the new seat are better quality than these are.

Plastic not good
The fastener parts are plastic. I bought this because I needed metal ones. I have plastic now and I needed to replace to metal that works. and do not break after a month.....
