Absolutely the best outdoor waterproof wire connectors for low voltage outdoor lights. The fit well with my various wire sizes, and have not failed after some extreme heat and even freezing temperatures. Very easy to install. These are a must have if replacing or repairing any outdoor low voltage landscape lights or wiring. I have used these for several years with NO failures, and thus are very durable.

These worked great for my landscape lighting main feeds with 3-4 wires twisted together in a single wire nut.. but when using them on a branch line to tap an individual lamp onto a branch line, the combination of three smaller wires (1 input, 1 to the lamp, and 1 continuing on to the next lamps in the line) the nut has a really difficult time getting a grip. I had to strip more like an inch of bare copper, twist them together, and then fold them back over to double their thickness (and shortening the length to 1/2” of exposed wire) before the nut could get a good grip on the wires. This isn’t saying anything bad about the quality of the product, they’re great and price is quite reasonable as well. Just forewarning that these do best with a meaty bundle of wire to work best. Ymmv

Know what you need BEFORE buying! I use very thick guage wire for my landscape lighting because I have long runs and don’t want the voltage drop toward the end of the run. So I use eight and 10 gauge low-voltage wire, which is very thick. I have tried so many different connectors trying to get a permanent connection. These connectors do the job. If you’ve got small, thin wires, these will be way too large look for something that matches the gauge of the wire that you’re using. I’ve had no issues with the wires, pulling out or shorting out. The silicone gel inside is great for keeping moisture out of your connections. My only wish is if they were brown in color to blend in more with my mulch. I actually spread them out on a piece of cardboard and lightly spray paint them with brown paint so they don’t stand out in my flower beds.

I mean they definitely are what is advertised. Works really well and honestly, the price for the amount you get is unmatched. The size is GREAT even when I use 12/2 landscape wire it works really well. Just twist to install , works after a long time and of course waterproof
