Love this little SAK.Very nice in the hand and to look at, the light is very bright and the button for it is the Victorinox logo...beautiful.It looks transparent, it is but Id like to be able to really see through it.Typical Victorinox quality...high.Would make a smashing gift.

As a big fan and modest collector of Swiss Army Knives this one is as well made, as useful with its tools and as attractive as its many ‘stable mates’. It’s fascinating to see how many variations in size, finish and tools the company makes of its iconic penknives.

very useful tool in the pocketand very sharp blade and scissors

Though I give this truly splendid Victorinox Signature Lite pocket knife 5 Stars for being beautifully made containing razor sharp blade and scissors, in addition to a biro pen, nail file, screwdrivers and an LED, it arrived without a battery.I felt like a child at Christmas, given a lovely toy but no batteries. I said some very rude words. Especially as the info given on this page stated containing a battery. 0_oConsequently I quickly ordered some button cell batteries: Namely, RENATA 389 Battery, Watch, Single Cell, Silver Oxide, 80 mAh, 1.55 V, SR54, Flat Top, 11.6 mm (5 pieces, so I don't run out!) from Amazon. Not bad price, incidentally. They're arriving soon.Otherwise I am a very happy for being the owner of a very beautiful, exquisitely made Swiss Army pocket tool. It's been used every night and the Renata 389 battery just keeps on going. Shop around Amazon for these batteries because they can be lots cheaper!

Practical, versatile and useful at a good price.

You don't just get a top quality Swiss army knife, but a pen and a led light too all in one.The light is not very bright, i would guess 1-5 lumens, but enough for the small emergencies like finding a key hole or walking in dark areas and even writing in dark.The pen writes very smooth, but they only come with blue ink.The blade is sharp, scissors are great and the nail file does a great job too, plus amazon puts a bargain on it, normally this silvertech costs from 1/3 more to twice as much in online stores or high street.I have both Blue jelly and Silvertech, both have the same white led.This is a great price, if you want a belt pouch for it i suggest the Victorinox 40531 Brown Leather Pouch - Small ,it fits in nicely, but this pouch cannot be carried on a thick belt its mainly made for women's belts that are max 3cmm high, still good enough for storage.This is a perfect gift, it is a mini multitool you will be using everyday.Many online shops like outdoor equipment shops sell the pen refills for it and they cost around 2-3.50£These mini led lights run on a 1.55V 389 silver oxide battery (one is supplied inside the gift box in a small blister pack), 390 will fit too, but the light is not so bright as with the supplied 3894/5 stars coz: The downside is that pen refills for it are hard to get and expensive and there is no clear instruction on what batteries are compatible and how much mAh they should have, it only says on instruction "1.55v 389E silver oxide" but batteries wit the "E" don't exist, i only could get a 390 battery, it fits, but the light is not so bright as with the original battery that was supplied i guess that the 390 with 80mAh i bought has lower mAh than the one supplied.On the battery that is included it only says Varta 1.55V HC389 so now i am really confused, but i think that the Varta V389 High Drain Silber1,55V 85mAh Uhrenzelle 10er Pack battery should be the right one, even Victorinox support stated in their support section that use a high drain 389 1.55v SR1130W batteryEver been in a situation before an important meeting and sow that annoying thread sticking out of your shirt or trousers? just open the scissors on your Victorinox Classic and cut it off :)

I bought this to go with the rest of my victorinox collection and it hasn't let me down especially the quality and price would definitely recommend buying.
