I am happy with this jacket so far. I’ve used it on a couple overnight hikes and am very impressed with the weight of it vs. the warmth it provides. Looking forward to taking it throughout my AT thru hike starting at the end of May.

This jacket wasn't too bad. But it does miss the mark.Pros:material seems goodloose enough to not compress you, and to allow full range of motiongood sized hood-- not too bigpretty average jacketCons:fit of the large was fine in the chest, but below that it was like wearing a trash bag-- far too loose and unflatteringno waist draw-string/cordhas a 2-way zipper --- 2-way zippers are a pain and never work rightit is actually an "Outdoor Ventures" productConclusion: Do not size up. I did so based on Amazon recommendation and it was far too large. This MIGHT work for some. Didn't for me. Not bad overall.

It's almost exactly two months after I purchased this, and threats are unraveling along the lower right seam for five inches along the bottom. I have not worn the jacket in any stormy weather and have not subjected it to any unusual activity. I went for walks in it. Very unhappy to have spent so much on a poorly made jacket.

Like the fit of the coat, but it could be a little bit warmer, not as warm as I thought it would be.

This jacket is super warm but lightweight. You may need to layer up below 40 degrees but I was warm enough with just a tshirt underneath in 45 degree weather and the wind did not penetrate. It does take a minute to warm up as it’s trapping your body heat. I like that it’s packable and waterproof to a point. I was considering the other brand (TNF) but they are 3x the price for a similar result. My parents have the TNF brand and this is very comparable. My only complaint is that the fit through the midsection is strangely over sized. Definitely designed for big bellies. If it was a little more slim in the midsection, I’d add a star back. For all other purposes, this is a great jacket.
