Turok Evolution (PS2)

The first thing that will hit you with Turok Evolution is a grand sense of dissapointment. The Scenery itself fails to inspire, and the AI is almost childish...on the first level if you shoot the triceratops it will understandably go mad chasing you around the main battlefield area...all you need to do is to back into the water swim off and watch the triceratops follow you in and drown, this was on my first play of the game.The weapons available are the one savin grace for this game. Ranging from your simple yet satisfying bow and arrow right through to the higher end of the fps market with all the big guns you would come to expect.If you are a fan of the series you will be dissapointed, but will get some enjoyment out of te familiarity of play, but if you are just looking for a game to play until timesplitters 2 comes out, then HOLD YOUR HORSES....just wait

Simple shoot em up

this game on 1 player is so boring but 2 player its so fun its unbelievable. so i give it 1star for 1 player, 5stars for 2 player, buy it, you will have fun, guaranteed

a good game, sometimes frantic, funny, action, highly recommended, makes you have a good time, these dinosaurs pretty good for the last generation of consoles

Best PlayStation 2 game ever made. Well packaged and works fine

I thankfully only hired this (on the basis of fond memories playing it on a friend's N64 a few years ago). The dinosaurs look and move like they're made out of Duplo. The environments are dreary as hell - not even in the same league as the original Tomb Raider. The controls are clumsy, awkward and frustrating, leading to an overall feeling that the character you're playing has had 7 pints of Stella before venturing in to the jungle. Maybe I should have given it more than the hour or so I did, but the only positive feeling I had as I switched off the console and put down the gamepad was relief that I hadn't wasted £ on it.

Good item would recommend to anyone. Works perfectly, excellent condition and had no problems installing and running it etc. A*

The previous games have all brought something new to the first person shooter that no one has ever seen before and this is no exception! with lush graphics and excellent game play this is a welcome change from the usual gene of fps that have been released to date. The game does fall down on a few points, the control system could have been fine tuned a bit more and the loading between levels makes you feel board(when will they release a sub game to play while your waiting for a load? im not asking for much just something to brake the teadium of excessive load times) but other than that an impressive game with plenty of multi-player options and variety for any fps fan.

Unfortunately was a British copy. Does not work on American PlayStation 2's
