I'm a novice with a plasma cutter. I'm a welding/metalwork hobbyist, and I've only had my plasma cutter for 3 to 4 months, so I'm still not very skilled with it. To get better, I grab scrap metal from neighbor's curb strips on large item trash day, and go to town with my tools. I tested this set on the lid of a broken propane grill that I plucked from the curb to weld, cut, and demolish. I was able to make nice, clean cuts, including curved cuts in the steel, and these performed just as well as the consumables that came with my plasma cutter. With 20 electrode/tip pairs included, this set should last me a very long time.

the ceramic sleeves were just tossed in a bag and one was broken, but not worth the return process for me.
