How to improve the fit of this part on your airbrush
This product improves the comfort and control of the airbrush. The part is made from molded plastic, and as noted by a previous review the small end near the front of the airbrush may not conform tightly to the airbrush body.A simple fix for this issue if you need to do it is . With the part not on the airbrush I ran hot water from a tea kettle over the front end of the part for about ten seconds to soften the plastic. Then holding the part in my hand I bent the smaller end of the part up past were it would be tight against the body of the airbrush. Then I slid the finger rest over the air valve into place on to the airbrush. Then I clamped the front end of the finger rest against the body of the airbrush using a clothespin. After waiting a few minutes for the plastic to cool I removed the clothespin. The plastic part was molded snug to the body of the airbrush.Enjoy

I've ordered two of these and both of them . . .
. . . were malformed. The thin end rises above the shaft of the airbrush - I put a straightedge to it and it's almost half a centimeter above a true line.Terrible quality control. With the other one I managed to epoxy it to the shaft of the airbrush and hold it in place with really strong tape long enough for the epoxy to set. With this one, I had less luck and the tape slipped while the epoxy was curing (overnight) so it lifted a bit and I'm left with a substantial gap between the pointy end of the thumb rest and the shaft of the airbrush.I'm tempted to try to pop it off (epoxy isn't known for adhering too strongly to chromed steel) and use this thing to make a mold of my own (modifying the pointy end to have a bit more mass on the part that is supposed to mate up with the shaft of the airbrush), cast this in epoxy resin, and then machine it down to fit properly. If I have to do that, I'll likely take the resulting final product and make a new mold and then start casting them for sale. This thing is a POS as is.

Perfect Grip!
I can't believe the difference this little piece of plastic makes! It just presses on the valve body by hand. Although it was designed for the Sotar, it fits the Patriot perfectly. The Patriot 105 is already naturally comfortable, but this gives a ridiculous level of control.
