KOH - I - NOOR Modulus 36 Aqua, TKC3736

I’m a professional artist and very fussy about art materials so delighted to find these gorgeous vibrant colours -they blend really well and are soft to use-the price is incredible for this standard of equipment and will certainly be buying more

I received these pencils last week. They are fabulous. Beautifully soft to lay down, melt easily and completely when adding water and vibrant, glowing colours.I had spent ages debating whether to buy these or some more expensive brand. I should not have worried. These are lovely. I will be getting the bigger set at some point now I know how good they are.

Invaluable addition to watercolour painting. Good dry, great wet.

These are very good, better than other more well known and more expensive pencils. Top tip, buy the 72 pack - a wide range of colours and if you only buy one packet you could buy these. Bear in mind that they are soft and therefore you will sharpen them down more quickly.

Really nice and vibrant colour, that wets easily into its watercolour ink. Great for fruits and some flowers and will add some more shades for florals separately later. From my initial play with these pencils I really enjoyed using them and how easily the colour lays down. I definitely recommend these pencils and the only thing I'm not sure about their light fastness, though I won't be using them for any great masterpieces.

I had heard good things about these pencils so I bought this set The thin cardboard box they come in is flimsy and there is no protection for the pencils. Inside the box they are not on trays like you would expect they are just all crammed in the box. There is no paintbrush in the box this is missing I’ve had to buy a container to keep them in because the box is rubbish. The name of the colour is not printed on the pencil. Just a number, but on other sets of the same pencils I have seen the colour name is printed also on other sets of the same pencils I have since seen the end of the pencil is finished in gold paint, on this set, it is just wood. I am now thinking are these pencils seconds because there is no nice tin, no brush, no colour name no nice finish on the end of the pencil, the box had been opened and was taped with brown tape, I am wishing now I had bought the 72 set which looks authentic. They are not as creamy as my Faber Castell pencils, but there is a good range of colours. I don’t think the colours blend as well as the Faber Castell which are softer and have a wider tip They sharpen ok but I’m just not that happy with them. I have been told by fellow artists how great they are so that’s why I’m thinking are these ones seconds because I can’t see what is so great about them, and I really was looking forward to getting these and using them I am disappointed. Some of the colours take to water better than others there is no consistency with them and using them dry some are softer than others I wouldn’t recommend this particular set maybe if you buy a set in a tin that looks completely different to this set but are supposed to be the same pencils you will have a better experience. This is my first experience with Koh-I-Noor and I’m not impressed although these may not be genuine Mondeluz. If I bought again in the future it would not be from this shop on Amazon

Such lovely pencils, much cheaper than others but really good quality. Easy to shade and a good range of colours.

Ich als Laie, finde die Stifte schön, die sind weich, zeichnen gut und die Gräben sind intensiv. Habe aber keine anderen Aquarellefarben benutzt, so, dass ich es jetzt nicht vergleichen kann.

Works very well, smooth color.

Cercavo dei pastelli per.uso scolastico alle.scuole medie....ottima qualità...morbidi specialmente quando diventano acquarelli.Tanti colori tutti bellissimi, mia figlia è.rimasta entusiasta. La marca già la conoscevo non mi ha mai tradito in fatto di.qualità.

J'ai acheté ces crayons car j'avais vu des coloriages avec ces crayons réalisés à sec et d'autres aquarellés et j'étais très intéressée par ce double usage! Ce sont des crayons fabriqués en République tchèque, dans un bois qui sent bon le bois et pas le produit chimique! ;) Ils sont gras et bien pigmentés. Je suis très contente de mon achat! :)
