Is this suitable for a 12 year old?

I would think so. I got one for a 7 year old and he wasn’t heavy enough to make it bounce. I’d think 12 would be ok though.

I think so. We bought one for our 5 year old daughter and the spring on it was far too strong for her - she couldn't bounce it at all. We returned it to Amazon and they refunded the money without any problem. An 11 year old boy should do fine with one.

What is the weight together with the box?

Sorry bought this as a present last year I would say weight was about 2kg / 3kg it was only light.

yes the spring is hard ,bought for grandaughter aged about 7 had for 2 years before she was able to use it, gets on with it fine now. older grandaughter was able to use straight away being 18 months older,
