The back on my dress burst out the first time I wore it.

Long review. Possibly.The dress was a little surprising on arrival. The stitching doesn't look amazing. I've seen better stitching on cheaper items however once on it's hard to see the stitching (it's the folded over parts on the front of the dress) the skirt part is quite a thin material. Perfect for office and summer because you won't get too hot. Th skirt however rises whenever you sit down and becomes a rather unattractive miniskirt. As I wore this for an interview I had to hold the skirt as I sat down to avoid it rising up. The top half of the dress is a nice thick material. Very comfortable to wear. The zip was a little stiff at first but probably because it hadn't been used. Was fine once opened and closed a few times.The sizing was a little strange. I am well and truly a size 16 but the size 16 seemed a little big. In-fact I had loads of room around my waist. The only true fitted part was the bust. The waist and skirt were a little big. Which makes me feel a little better about myself but was still a little odd. The only other thing to mention really was that the fabric the skirt is made of, feels a little on the cheaper side (compared the the fabric on the top half) but it also clings to every bump you have. So if you have a little bit of a belly or a larger bum. It will cling to every bump you have and show it off.Regardless of the above mentioned. I did enjoy wearing it. And will buy from the company again. I feel the price is a little high for what you get. But I'll probably buy from them again because it's not a bad dress. And it's hard to find this style of dress. That fits mostly well. In a larger size. I already have my eye on a few more of their items!

Better than expected. Only thing to bear in mind is the arms are a tad short, not too short to be three quarter length but also not long enough to reach the wrist. Despite this, great buy.

Did not like the fabric

I've been eyeing this lovely dress up for three weeks or so now; I wasn't sure it would fit well as the model has a much slimmer waist compared to her chest and/or hips than I do.I did, however, fall in love with it and realised I kind of had to give it a go!I'm really pleased with the results. It looks great, and the material is stretchy enough to accommodate my not-quite hourglass figure 😅I love how I look in this; it still manages to make me feel sexy without being inappropriate for general wear; in fact I think it's quite a sophisticated look, and aside from being work wear I'd actually consider wearing it to meals out with my other half, and perhaps even less full-on nights on the town!I do find that I occasionally have to pull it down when standing up - nothing drastic, but I get a little bit of a ride-up (literally half a centimetre, nothing unflattering!) - this produces a small (barely noticeable) crease which my OCD will not let me leave in place just at the bottom of the top (red) section.Even that, however, I can attribute to my figure rather than the dress, and the pros way outweigh the cons!The top part is tighter than I thought it would be around my arms; nothing at all to worry about, it's not uncomfortable, and I think in fact it's because it fits better than other garments I have with similar arms and not worse!All in all I absolutely love this dress; the only real downside is that during this lockdown I won't get to wear it out!
