Amazing world of dragons, fear and lust
Ok read Daughter of Shadow series First it's not a must but it will help understand Ria's family and history of this series world. This is a fantastic book that had me glued at first you think it's all about Ria and all her secrets but as you peel back the pages yiu peel back the hidden layers of story finding out about the chess game being played with our main character s lives. 4 princes sent in competition to find their prize loyalty, honour and honesty tested, these Princes being used as porns by their kings and queen to their own means while still wanting to lust and play with anything in a dress. Honestly can not wait for the next one as I need to know what happens next!

good
WARNING! Cliffhanger (about a 4/5; no obvious life threatening situations, but a huge question!)NOTE: Aurelia is the daughter of Calla from the four horsemen series by the author, and the series benefits from having read that one first.A daughter of the six who freed everyone from the tyrannical reign of the ebon queen, Aurelia thinks of herself as a tough but insignificant human.Being taken by dragon princes to their rulers, Aria discovers that the dragons think of her as a threat, and that the four dragon princes are fighting to be the ones to get her there…Aurelia is not an especially likeable character, and to be frank, the princes are just as bad. It’s not until the end of the book that any of them redeem themselves even a little! There are explanations for their unlikeability though, and it’s a journey of discovery as we travel through the story, and things become clear. While Aurelia is far more bluff than action, the princes aren’t exactly free agents either. The book itself, however, is well written. The story is interesting, and despite finding the characters objectionable, I’m intrigued by their story. It’s a tale of consequences, of what happens after the world is saved… and I suspect a tale of how not to take things for granted. An interesting contemporary RH fantasy for fans of the genre.

Interesting start to a series
I had mixed feelings when I started reading this book. But i'm getting into it. I haven't bonded with the characters yet. I feel like we need more independent scenes to learn more about them.Ria is said to be this badass character but I am yet to see her as one. So far she seems to mostly be reacting to situations and not necessarily in show on strength.Hope for better plot and character building as the series goes on.

4.5 Stars
Other than being pissed of with some of the characters for 85% of the book it’s super good. Moving onto the next one now..
