It was very pretty on its own, but in the space I just felt like it needed something more with my large open wall. I had a decent sized branch fall in my yard so I decided to attach it to that and add some bead for a little bit of accent. I love the way it looks in out guest bedroom and I feel like it helps tie everything together.
