Amazing - worked within two weeks
We tried lots of things for our 6 year old, who was becoming increasingly upset at not staying dry at night. She was rarely ever waking even when completely wet (most nights). This alarm has made ALL the difference. We have just completed week 3 - a week of completely dry nights and her, for the first time ever, waking five nights to go to the toilet herself. The first week was hit and miss and I’d strongly urge a parent to consider sleeping in the bed or room with the child, as that made a huge difference. The second week (with her in our bed) we had four “wake ups to the alarm”. And third week - all dry. Thank you so much to ERIC charity for your support.

Amazingly effective
Used with my 7yr old daughter. We’d tried increasing her water intake in the day, ruled out constipation and other issues on the ERIC website and she’d had the occasional run of 5/6 dry nights but also continued long spells of a wet bed every night. She often didn’t realise her bed was wet until the morning. She wasn’t sure about trying an alarm which was partly why I chose this one as she liked the idea of recording her own message. It’s turned out to be a miracle worker - 3 nights medium wee, 3 nights wet knickers only and completely dry since, 6 weeks and counting!!!! Wish I’d got one sooner.

Great Alarm - results on 2nd (1st) night - caution advised
Second night last night but the first night in reality as the night before, it came unattached, which was our fault as we forgot to put the cabling under her shirt. So first 'real' night. The siren and my voice rudely woke my daughter at the very first dribble at 2.30am this morning, it frightened her, I have to admit, really frightened her, even on the quietest setting. We had set it off before she went to bed so she knew what to expect but I think when you're deeply asleep a load siren by your head is going to scare an adult, let alone a 10yr old, I had neglected to consider this so I write it here so anyone else trying this product does not go all out bells and whistles on night 1!!Tonight we will just set it to play my voice which simply says gently "child name, time to get up and go to the loo!" Needless to say, she did have a dry night for the first time, ever!! She's 10 and we've tried everything so to have a dry night is incredible. Hopefully this alarm will be the key to unlocking sleepovers she is too embarrassed to have, school trips where changing into pull-ups has to be arranged secretly by the teachers... night time freedom for her!

Worked like a dream
Wish we had bought this 12 months ago. Did quite a bit of research and because our 7 and a half year old son was so distressed by the issue decided to spend and get a really decent alarm. First 2 weeks were tricky. We had him in our room on a mattress near a toilet but by 3 weeks he was either dry at night or getting himself up. He sorts the alarm himself and it has been brilliant. I can’t believe the difference. If you’re thinking of getting my advice would be it is worth the investment. We would spend this on pull ups in the next 6 months anyway if we hadn’t taken the plunge. Worth it for how happy my son is and for us all getting a decent nights sleep.

This box has transformed our daughter’s life.
Oh. My. Goodness. USE THIS. USE THIS. USE THIS. I cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate what this tiny little box has done for our daughter and also us as a family!! Yes it’s quite pricey, but so is 5 years of nappies. This one allows you to record your voice, which my daughter woke to first time (forget alarms, kids never seem to wake to them!) and wasn’t scared of (was dreading her jumping out of her skin and wetting herself in the process). I recorded the instruction to go to the loo, so she knew WHAT to do when it went off. But, actually, she stopped wetting and woke to her bladder signals within 3 days! We’re continuing with it for 12 weeks as per the progress chart, just to be sure, but it has worked when we thought nothing ever would. Easy to set up. She does it herself now. She doesn’t seem at all bothered by the cable clipped to her “inner set” of pants (pants over the top to keep it from pulling off) or the box on her pj top front. And she’s a tummy sleeper.

Definitely worth a try, very good quality.
This feels good quality and is still in good, functioning order after almost 3 months of nightly use. Once it seemed to stop working, but a quick Google found a short instructional video from Malem. Soak the sensor in diluted vinegar to remove urine build up, it worked straight away. The advice (from Malem and other sources, eg. Eric.org.uk ) that parents and children need to approach this treatment with positivity, understanding and perseverance, is definitely very true. It can be exhausting and disheartening as you and your child work through the process. Keep the chart filled in each night and I hope you will see the gradual progress towards your goal of nighttime dryness, like we did. Thank you to Malem and sending strength and hope to all going through this tiring journey. Good luck.

Perfect - I renamed if the miracle machine!!
Can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner!! Tried everything, consultants, medication you name it. Worked from day one. I believe it’s a mental thing & the fact this was on & extremely sensitive vibrated immediately & woke my little boy up to go to the loo. Odd accident but a little miracle worker!Only downfall & we didn’t use it is the alarm setting is extremely loud - would frighten the living daylights out of the neighbourhood never mind d your child! Not able to adjust it either....

Clip sensor stopped working.
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately after a week of using it the clip sensor stopped working. We'll return it back.
