This lead is nice and light to use as a house lead for a small puppy, or for their initial walks. Wouldn’t be suitable for larger pups or adult dogs as is very small and light and does not have a handle

These are great house lines for puppies. A house line needs to be light weigh so it can not be chew proof but if you manage your puppy in the first few days home it will quickly get use to these and just ignore the line. In the 4 months my Lab has been wearing these she chewed through one. She sometimes chews the end but that's it now. One thing I do recommend is to cut the loop off the end. The loop can get stuck and if the house line frustrates puppy it's more likely to chew. These are NOT leads and should not be used as leads. Once you have use a house line to bring up a puppy you will never go back to chasing a puppy around the house when it makes bad choices and as the puppy see's chase as a game you remove all the rewards of unwanted behaviour. At 6 months old my puppy will soon on longer need a house line but even though she is very will trained and responds to commands almost instantly she has this on from the moment she comes out of the create in the morning to when she goes to bed at night. 10/10 just be quick with the "leave it" command when you first start using.

Perfect for attaching to my puppy’s collar and trailing behind so I can stop her eating plants stones etc. or disappearing under the hedge.

I decided to order this a week into having my first puppy and it's absolutely amazing. He has a keen eye for trying to eat flowers so for a few days I'd have to be right over him to stop him chewing on everything he shouldn't. The lead has been a game changer! Almost every time a little tug will get his attention back to the right things and has really helped with getting him leash trained for his first walk. For the money I'd absolutely recommend.

Not perfect and easily gets knotted. Had to attach a new spring clip as too stiff. But the one that goes in my pocket... find it useful to join the ends to stop it tangling and hang it round my neck.

Perfect lightweight training lead for my puppy. It’s a good length and doesn’t bother him when it’s trailing on the ground. I rated 5 for chew proof but I have no idea as he doesn’t really try and chew it

This is ideal for a new puppy. I haven't put it on him in the house as yet, only been with us for 2 days but use it to take him out in garden. Ideal. Is fairly long but can wrap around your hand or guessing you could cut it if you felt the need. I have an 8 week old goldendoodle who is small at present. I don't think this lead would be any good for a strong dog. Good value for what I wanted

Using this with a 10 weeks old Golden Retriever. Lightweight and functional.He is in chewing mode though so not sure whether this is vey resistant to those little teeth?Monitoring needed when attached and not to be left alone, see above.

I find these training leads so useful especially when training a puppy, they are light enough to trail but easy to put your foot on if pup gets too far away.

Quite difficult to hold but can clip on a handle but as it’s inside not much of an issue but very happy with it for the money

Perfect first lead for my puppy. He hasn’t managed to chew threw it yet but it’s frayed slightly. Nice and lightweight but still very strong and manageable
