Tasty recipes that don't require a lot of ingredients
I was looking for a cookbook that would have not only easy recipes but healthy ones. The skinny taste simple cookbook has a variety of both of these kind of recipes. I also like that the recipes can be made with only 7 ingredients. There is everything in here from breakfast, soups, poultry, fish and desserts to chose from. I have made about 11 recipes so far in the month or so I have had it. I will say everything so far has been flavorful and the recipes are easy to follow along with. Every recipe has a photo of the food. The nutritional info is also included with calories, fat, chlosetrol , carbs fiber,protein, sugar and sodium content. Every recipe has a photo, and a list of each ingredient needed (7 or less!). Many ingredients are in your home now, or are easy to find. As a mom looking for inspiration, this is a great cookbook. It’s a simple take on healthy dinner, without cutting any corners. Great for first time cooks, moms on a budget, or a healthy foodie looking for something new. I already tried 3 of the recipes in this book in less than a week. Very delicious, and I’m sure they will be even better next time around when I add my own touch. Bravo.

Every recipe that I have made from this cookbook is absolutely delicious and easy!
Once again, Gina puts out a winner. This cookbook is amazing and a must for busy families that need a fast and easy dinner, most especially during the week nights! I have tried several recipes from this cookbook already since I got it Wednesday. Everything so far is delicious and simple to put together. Making Madison's Steak Tacos with Cilantro Lime Rice tomorrow night for Taco Tuesday. Speaking of tacos, I see three different recipes for tacos in the cookbook already, perfect for my family who loves their Taco Tuesday nights! There's something for everyone in this cookbook, just like all of the other Skinnytaste cookbooks. Gina is so helpful and thoughtful of those who have food allergies or intolerances, such as gluten or sugar, almost always tries to recommend an alternative ingredient, if she is able to, not only in her cookbooks, but also her Skinnytaste website. She has many vegan, vegetarian, and high protein recipes. Gina is the only cookbook author that I would buy before even looking at the cookbook, because every single cookbook she's put out is fantastic, and baby, I have them all! Looking forward to the next cookbook from Gina!

Loved this Cookbook!
Interesting recipes, all with just a few key ingredients that appear to come together quickly. Glossy photos, simple instructions that even novice cooks should find easy to manage. And the best part Is they are all healthy! I can't wait to try some of these recipes, the fun part being healthier eating habits in the upcoming new year. Healthy, delicious and easy to produce. A winning combination!!

Yummy Recipes BUT... "7 Ingredients" Is Deceiving
I'm back for another review of my favorite books ever...cookbooks! I read cookbooks like most people read murder mysteries :) I'm also a certified functional nutrition counselor so I'm always looking for wonderful recipes that feed the soul AND feed the body well. I don't love that this book is called "Skinnytaste" because I think "skinny" isn't a healthy goal but I do know what they are going for so I'll look past that. The receipes have all of the basic nutritional information at the bottom of the page which I LOVE! There are wonderful, full color pictures for each recipe, something I think is a must have in any great cookbook. My biggest hang up with this book is that when they say "7 ingredients" that's NOT the truth! They count processed, already made items (that have many ingredients in them) as 1 ingredient. Some examples: White Pizza and Spinach- pizza dough is an ingredient, Instant Pot "Baked" Ziti with Spinach- "good quality marinara sauce" is an ingredient and lastly in Stracciatell Tortellini Soup- tortellini is an ingredient. As always, to be fair to the author I made 2 recipes, I made the Ham and Swiss Omelet Wrap as well as the High-Protein Waffles. I really liked both recipes!! The omelet wrap was easy to make, easy to take in the car, quick to prepare and delish!! The high-protein waffles were fluffy, thanks to the egg whites, my kids loved them with peanut butter and bananas on top. I'll definitely make more of these recipes in the future.

Another winner for Gina and Skinnytaste!
I have every one of Gina’s books (most in both hard copy and Kindle versions) and really love that she provides easy, healthy recipes. I flag pages of recipes I want to make; it would have been easier to flag the ones I won't (really only 5 or 6). I’ve loved every recipe I’ve made so far. For those complaining about ingredients lists, don't forget to read the introduction pages (specifically, page 11 regarding pantry items); this book is for basics and Gina acknowledges that we usually have the basic ingredients on hand (i.e., salt, pepper, oil, etc.) so that she can keep the actual list down to 7 ingredients (which makes a weeknight meal quick and easy). Salt and pepper type ingredients are to individual tastes and/or can be omitted for those who may be on restricted ingredient diets for health issues. It’s also easy enough to add additional seasonings to suit individual tastes for those of us who like to be a bit more creative with our cooking or who like more spice than others. This book is definitely a winner in my opinion.

Fantastic Cooking Book with Simple Recipes
I got this cooking book for my friend, and it's great! The book has recipes with only 7 ingredients each, which makes cooking super simple. What's cool is that there are pictures of the ingredients, so you know exactly what to use. My friend loved the book because the recipes are easy to follow and don't need a lot of stuff. It's perfect for busy people or those who are new to cooking. I think this book is great for anyone who wants to make tasty meals without a lot of hassle. I highly recommend it for a fun and easy cooking experience.

Love this series
This book is in line with her other cookbooks. Easy to cook healthy meals for me (dad) to cook for the kids. I don't have alot of experience cooking and the instructions here are great for my skill set.

Great Cookbook
I pre-ordered this cookbook and it arrived yesterday. I had a good look at it and there are several recipes that I can’t wait to try…..they all look delicious, healthy and not complicated. One thing that is especially helpful is that Gina posts a little picture of the ingredient/pantry item with each recipe. Another wonderful cookbook created by Gina that encourages a healthy lifestyle! Thank you!
