Bokken: Japanese Wooden Sword - Black for Martial Arts Practice

I recently ordered both this black bokken and a white version Bokken: Japanese Wooden Sword- Model #3 (White) !! from the same seller. Both bokkens were dispatched almost immediately and the product arrived swiftly, however upon receiving the products the quality varied greatly. While the white one was perfect the black one was light and unsuitable for training, despite the description which claimed otherwise. Upon using both for the first time in light practice the black one snapped while the white one received little to no damage. Contacting the seller I was simply told it was "wear and tear", despite it being the first time it was used, and nothing could be done about it. Sure that the broken black bokken may have simply been a one-off I bought another of the white ones, assured of the quality by the previous white one I had bought. I was greatly mistaken. The second I received varied greatly in quality to my first white one in weight, shape and durability. While the speed of delivery may be quick this is not the product for you if you intend upon using it for practice.

Bought this for my son to train with for the art of Ninpo Bugai. It is very sturdy, and quite heavy for a Bokken, however. my son was very pleased with it. Thank you.

Es un bokken aceptable para el precio que tiene. El acabado no es malo, aunque el mune no es uniforme y un vértice se levanta sobre el otro. La gestión del envío fue la correcta pero el hecho de que el precinto de Amazon estuviera dañado y la solapa del paquete algo abierta dan una muy mala impresión. Si quieres tener un primer bokken para iniciarte no es mala opción.

Super quality!it looks great and has a very nice feel and color to it, I would consider this to be definitely recommendable.

Devo dire che neanche il tempo di ordinale è già mi era arrivato . Considerando che mi trovo su un'isola nel golfo di Napoli dove la consegna non è poi così veloce , sono rimasta a bocca aperta ! Detto questo l'imballaggio era perfetto , ho fatto la prova su " tatami " e devo dire che mi ci trovo molto bene. Molto leggero rispetto alla mia Katana , sono abituata ad un peso maggiore, però devo dire che è maneggevole e il legno è di ottima qualità in base al prezzo . Non fatevi ingannare dalle recensioni , perché a me ad esempio è arrivato intatto e soprattutto non presenta nessun graffio e non ci sono schegge che possono danneggiare le vostre mani. Ripeto , il mio bokken è perfetto e anche molto bello esteticamente ! Lo ricomprerei sicuramente !

Per gli amanti è una vera perla.
