Good to tidy wavy hair but not for perfect results
I never burn myself with it - fingers or scalp, easy to use on my medium hair. The ends are never straight, they curl up! Some of my curls remain too, I guess this is just to tidy the mess I wake up with as I have naturally wavy hair. I'm not going to heat more as my hair is fine, although I use it at 220 and I should be using it at 150 for fine hair... I'm not seeing damage yet. I'm actually pleased with the result - it's still messy to a certain degree but tidier and I like my hair better now.

Doesn't straigtening, but does smooth
I bought this knowing it wouldn't get my hair perfectly straight, so was expecting that. It does smooth my hair a lot and make it wavy rather than curly. It's good for when I'm rushing out the door and don't have time to make my curls look nice, and also don't have time to completely straighten my hair. It does take awhile to heat up though, so that's the only downside. Other then that it's a great product!

It was fantastic for sorting out bed hair frizz very easily
Bought this for my mother for Christmas (she doesn't know yet) my daughter and I had a few sneaky goes on it before we sent it (don't tell her). It was fantastic for sorting out bed hair frizz very easily, started to get quite attached to using it.My daughter said she would quite like it, so, thinking all the brands must be quite similar, and, because she'd already seen this one, and I wanted there to be some surprise element, I ordered a different make, which I thought might be even better because it had more bumpy bits in the middle. Had a go on that one, and wish I'd bought another of these. This one just felt more solid and of a good quality, and my hand never touched the heated parts, and the curvy design was far more attractive too. The other one felt more flimsy, and I kept almost getting burnt on the bristles. I think I will order another of this one after christmas just for myself.

Fortunately, it did work in the US
Dual Voltage???When the product arrived, I couldn't find anything in the limited 'instructions' or on the product to confirm that it was dual voltage. Fortunately, it did work in the US. All I can say is that this hair brush was better than no heated hair brush at all. I kept pressing the buttons by accident while I was holding the brush and the brush was actually quite heavy. After a week, I could almost use it to straighten my hair but I had no success with curling my hair. I just wish that Babyliss would make a dual voltage Big Hair Brush.

One Of The Best
A really good buy. I purchased initially as I needed something dual voltage to take on holiday to the States. But I use it all the time now. Love the adjustable temperature. I had a problem initially because I kept pressing the temperature button as I used the brush and the temperature kept changing or I would actually switch it off. But I didn't read the instructions properly and the lovely manuacturer pointed out to me that all I had to do was double click the on/off button and it locks everything in position. My sister, who is rubbish at doing her own hair, tried it while we were on holiday together and even she managed to style her short bob. She loved it so much that she bought one too. Really recommend this.

Very useful item but a recommendation and a word of caution
Very useful item but a recommendation and a word of caution.1. User should blow-dry the hair before using the MHU - 3.2. The temperature setting button should be located in the lower part of the handle to prevent the temperature setting continually being inadvertently altered during use,Otherwise a very useful appliance.

Useful for a hairbrush
I’ve got thick hair and thought the heat setting would help.. I blow dryed my hair from wet before I used this but it ended up thick (almost frizzy) but straight! If you want volume it’s there but for £15 I’ll use it like a hairbrush! It’s better on thinner hair maybe but I’m not sending it back.. not at all worth the original £120 unless you have thinner hair.

Good value for money, good quality brush
A nice hair brush.I bought it for a quick hairdo. It is working great. Worms up fast, you can choose the right temperature for your hair, locks so that you do not accidentally change settings and generally has a feel of a good quality brush. A con is the very short wire. Also the instructions book is the bare minimum. No instructions on temperature choices... However it's good value for money.
