I plow/shovel snow for my neighborhood and the basic chem handwarmers are a joke. They get warm but only after about 15 minutes. This device gets hot within 15 seconds. I turned it on and put it in my pocket when it was 0*F outside. I warmed up my snowblower which takes me about 2 minutes and it was already burning me through my jeans and thermals. So I lowered it to medium and it was decent. My jacket covers my leg tops which holds that heat in from the warmer. Keeps your core nice and warm. On medium it lasted me 45 minutes and still had 1 dot of charge (of 4) remaining. So about an hour on medium. It also functions as a USB charger but I have yet to use it as such. It's also a portable light which isn't that bright but would probably last you days. Works great. Has 3 temp settings and I usually leave it on the lowest one. I play a lot of winter disc golf and I keep it in my pocket for between shots warm ups of my hands. The battery has long life. I use it all day and it still is not discharged. And it is easy to charge. All the bars light up when fully charge so you know it is ready to go again.

I bought four for gifts. I tested each one first thankfully because two had to be returned. Only two had each of the functions. Only two heated up on both sides. It does get nice and hot. Wasn’t really cold enough this year for testing. Don’t expect long term heat before recharging but it’s long enough to get things done.

I have given this unit a pretty good work out. I've had it out in some very cold windy weather. On the low setting it kept my hands very comfortable in temperatures down to 25 degrees. On the middle temperature I've had it out in the teens and kept my hands warm. There has been no reason to put it on high but if I did, I would put it in a sock because it gets way to hot for bare skin.

The whole thing doesn't warm up, the smaller rectangular area in the center heats up, which compared to other hand warmer battery packs I've used is smaller than I would like. Also wish the power indicator was by specific percentage not just four sections indicating 25% each. Otherwise everything works as claimed.

Got cold hands? You wont if you get one of these. I use it on low and it's nice and toasty. In seconds you can feel it warming up. I also charged by phone from it for a while which is handy. The led light is decent and the vibrator function is ok too. But I really wanted the hand warmer for my ice cube hands. I am more than happy with how well it warms the icecicles up on a cold day. Have used it over an hour and it still has plenty of battery left. Wonderful product!
