I bought this for my Husband for our Ivory wedding anniversary. The design is lovely and the item arrived on time, the only down side was that it arrived slightly broken. I super glued it back together as I didn't have enough time to return it and order another before our anniversary. Overall I am happy with the item.

It’s well worth the money

as everyone else mentioned it's smaller than expected. But for for the craftsmanship worth the price.I removed 2 stars due to the excessive plastic packaging. They used foam packaging and although some claim to be recyclable it's difficult to recycle. Foam board is made from expanded polystyrene (EPS), which is not biodegradable nor widely recycled. Most foam board ends up in landfill sites, destined to break up and contaminate the planet for thousands of yearsNo point being all "Mother Earth" and spiritual if you're going to destroy the planet. Wish i had known, would not have ordered it

I've had my eye on these for a while and finally decided to treat myself. I ordered 2 for a kind of bookend effect for my mantelpiece and I'm very glad that I did.They arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. They're made out of soapstone so they're relatively heavy though can be brittle so I was very careful in moving them as I have a history of breaking things.The tea candle sits on the bottom plate which is separate from the main body and of a good thickness to help protect the surface it sits on.The carvings are clear, distinct and create a nice effect on the walls when the candles are burning.Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.

Wow! This is a stunning piece. Such amazing quality and securely packaged. I'm in awe at the craftsmanship and extremely grateful to have been given the oppertunity to purchase this and at such a great price. Thank you.I truly wish to purchase another to make a set although I'd need it to be the same colour, But many reviews in regards to receiving different colours, even when purchasing 2 together, is somewhat worrying therefore, off putting.

Very pretty design but much smaller than expected, I have a spherical one similar and expected it to be the same size but it's half the size, the light effect when lit isn't as good either, it covers a much smaller area. In saying that it looks pretty in position when lit & unlit. The soapstone discolours very quickly with the heat of tea light

I had stopped using candles because I have pets and especially my cat gets very close to them and once almost burned his tail, but now it's covered up and kitty safe. It takes the small tea lights perfectly. The size is exactly as discribed. I'm very happy with the. Note to the readers: It gets hot so be careful if you want open it up while the candle is lit.
