I expected it to be bit smaller but small enough for a average size room. Some smaller books don't "poke" out but overall it's a nice addition, holds books nicely and look attractive. A great value for the price.

This little bookcase is smaller than I thought, but I didn’t really pay attention to size. My daughter is 4, just for a little size reference. It does hold many books, and although it looks full I can still fit quite a few more comfortably. The plastic should be easy to clean, and it seems sturdy. It dis not come with a screwdriver so good thing I had one, very easy to assemble, it took about 5 minutes.
