 Getting these in early :-).I haven't bought these for snow but I have bought them for that time when it has snowed two days earlier and then partially thawed and then frozen again. On top of that the snow has been compacted on the pavement by people walking on it and it has become a nightmare. Not so much a problem when I get off the train in Manchester as the pavements are usually cleared but getting to the station where I live is a nightmare!These are so easy to put on (look at my video) and take off as well. I am a size 10-10.5 and these are XL. They fit my office shoes as well as my more out doory type. Cant try them on ice yet but I have walked in them and I know that not only do they stay in place, they will bite into anything that is under foot. Something that I particularly like about these its that you get 10 spare studs for when they wear down (I presume that I can get more when I need them to)At this price they are convenient to use and easy to carry in a bag when finished with and hopefully, no more slipping and sliding this winter.

I was full of expectation as the reviews looked pretty good... but as I tried to attach the second one to my shoe the rubber snapped and now they are useless.. from my own experience a total waste of money..

Wife bought these for walking around the village on a skiing holiday. She had shattered her elbow in a fall several weeks before so didn't ski and was very nervous about walking on snow and ice with her bad arm. She used them all week even on quite long walks both in the village and up on the mountain. Worked brilliantly and gave her lots of confidence. Only minus point is they're more expensive than cheaper ones I bought for myself which seem to work just as well. Maybe you get what you pay for - time will tell

Used them today on sheet ice and superb

Good for lightweight use on softer ice just below freezing but wouldn't use around a frozen waterfall -10-15, studs don't feel sharp enough or long enough, get something larger that looks a bit more like a crampon.

Excellent. I ordered small (size 5) and the fitted thin soled dress boots but I needed a Medium to fit on broad, deep soled fitflop boots. Very useful and effective on ice provided the size is right for type of boot.

Put simply the yellow studs fall out really easily. After two days of waking to work in the snow I’ve used all my spares and now have one missing on one foot.Not impressed as I can imaging ending up with a grip less rubber sole on a patch of ice when the snow starts melting.
