triangle Borea BR03 100W 2-Way USA Edition Bookshelf Speakers, Pair, Driftwood

I’ve gone through a number of bookshelf speakers to listen in my home office, and these are where I stopped. Not because I got tired, but because I’ve found the exact sound I’ve been looking for.BR03 is a very versatile speaker, which fits my eclectic music tastes. It is equally happy playing hip-hop, classical, or jazz, and it does so with aplomb. The bass is considerably stronger than I thought it would be, but it’s fast, tight, handles transient notes and quick passages without making any of it sound muddy or undefined; great for hip-hop, EDM, dubstep, etc. Vocals are thick, smoky, and sultry, and Nora Jones never sounded so good in my office. And the highs… they took me a bit to get used to. At first, I was a bit concerned. For the first few days, I felt the high frequencies were a bit attenuated, rolling off around ~15k. However, after a few days of playing, they really opened up and now play better than I expected, ever. Max Richter, Nils Frahm, Goldmund all rely on that upper registrar, and the BR03s are happy to oblige.The single biggest virtue of this speaker to me is that you can play it all day, non-stop, and the sound never cuts your ears, even after prolonged exposure. It is just that smooth and easy-going. But if you want to open it up and get loud, they are very happy to do so and never break up (within reason, of course; they are still a bookshelf speaker.)

The speaker has amazing detail. It deserves the great professional reviews it has garnered.

These really lack midrange clarity. They sound pretty "wooly" with female voices and zero midrange detail. I'll be selling them soon.

Ordered a pair, and one speaker was obviously bad. The woofer scratchy and distorted; no way were these inspected or tested before shipment. Pretty disappointing...

Tengo las triangle br02 y tenía dudas si comprar la triangle br03 porque había visto reviews donde mencionaba que era mejor br02 pero ahora que tengo los dos modelos y puedo comparar la br03 si vale la pena el upgrade aunque el br02 también me gusta mucho los reproduzco un par de br03 y un par de br02 también compare lan las definitive technilogy d9 y para mi es superior la marca triangle
