The Takaragai is a very special good luck coin sold only at Chokenji Temple in Japan. I have partnered with the Temple Abbot to create bezel-set pendants from these amulets that will "give birth" to love, prosperity, happiness and more, if you wear the amulet against your skin. This amulet is dedicated to the Japanese Goddess Benzaiten (closely related to the Hindu Goddess Swaraswati) who is the Goddess of prosperity, business, and the arts. The coin is made from a silver colored metal (unknown) and features a vulva image on the front with a stupa representing the 5 elements as the clitoris, and the back has the name of the temple and the goddess written in Japanese. The amulet is set in a open-backed bezel so you can see the whole coin, and strung on an 18" nickel-free silvery chain with lobster clasp. The necklace comes with three papers in English and Japanese that explain the origin and history of this amulet.
