Delta Baby Shantala Baby Bath for Newborn (Blue)

Should have tried this sooner !!! Now at baby three, and with a small small bathroom, I decided to go from classic baby tub to this... And I LOOOOOOVE IT ! Of course I love it because my boy does !Pros : small and light so you fan bathe your little one anywhere. Baby loves being in the water up to his shoulders.Uses very very little water, so I finally feel better about bath time. Easy access to baby with a washcloth, on every side.Cons : well, I don't really see any but I have not used it with a very very small newborn. I would think that the lack of "hole" to drain (sorry don't know the word) at the bottom makes it tricky to hold your baby with one hand, grab the towel with the other, and get him out of his bath. As it uses very little water it does not stay warm very long, but enough to wash and relax in my opinion.For a newborn you definitely still need to hold him, but I just hold his feet at the bottom and he does the rest. With a younger one, you would still probably need some support so this not a totally hands free bath solution... Possibly because this model is quite wide... But I have big babies so I took the biggest one. And when bathtime is over, it turns into a brilliant little toy bucket for his older brothers bath toys !

Excellent deep tub. Great for an older baby who is able to sit up. I had one of these tubs for my child.I have a new one for my big puppy. Great for cleaning underneath him. He can put his paws onto the side to hold onto for security sake. Gives a deep clean.Substantial and sturdy. Thick plastic. Won't tip over. For emptying the tub, it just tips down the sink, but usually soaking everywhere as I fill it very full to wash my dog.The best tub shape invented. Great product. Highly recommended for older babies who can sit upright unaided.

Remembering how much my oldest hated bathtimes in a standard baby bath I decided to get a tub bath for my second child and chose this over some of the others around as it looked big enough to last a bit longer and the lower section at the front seemed like it might make it easier to use. We ended up with a bright orange one as I let my older child chose the colour!My newborn seems to enjoy floating in it, but it's really quite tricky to wash him at the moment as it's very difficult to keep him upright and above the water using just one hand. (He is prone to getting milk in his little neck folds so he really does need a bit of a wash rather than just a dunk in the tub).I've seen other reviewers say that tub baths are just an overpriced bucket, but this feels much more sturdy and stable than a bucket, and the two handles make it easy to carry when full. The orange colour is actually quite nice and cheerful too. I think it'll get easier to use once my baby's head control improves so that I don't need to hold him up all the time, so overall I'm fairly happy with it for now. (I'll update this when I find out how well it works with an older baby).

Gorgeous smooth, solid and very large bucket! It's good for my 4 month old baby because he has the water up to shoulder height. But it is very large. Have to hold him upright all the time. Can't see how it would work with a newborn at it is really so big. We alternate between the big bath - laying him out flat and this bucket because he is not to impressed in being cramped up.Would be great for camping.Great for babies 4 -12 months I would say.

I wanted one of those buckett baths but was confused as I mainly found the tummy tub, which looked rather narrow and was only to use the first 6 months. A friend suggested the Shantala bath bucket, which is much wider onn the bottom, providing much more room for babies legs and with the back being higher its easier for mums to wash their babies. Love the product, my baby loves it too and looks so comfy in it. Price is good as well. Only small criticism ,it is advisable to buy some antyslip pads to put on the bottom, for even more security for the baby.

was very skeptical about this product after reading reviews for and against it. I have to say this bath was a god send in our house. My then 4 month old son loved it. I ionly wish i had seen them when I had my 4 year old. Its like having an extra pair of hands at bath time. GREAT

Baignoire qui ne prend pas de place. Hyper ergonomique, mon bébé adore prendre ses bains dedans et ne consomme pas beaucoup d’eau.

La vaschetta è arrivata velocissima prima della data prevista. Me l'aspettavo più grande ma devo dire che la mia bimba di 9 mesi (7.5kg) sembra starci comoda. Serve pochissima acqua, il corpicino sta dentro e non prende freddo, non c'è rischio che la testa vada giù e per quanto la posizione sembri scomoda la mia piccola riesce anche a giocare con il pupazzetto. Tenendo il bambino in piedi nell'acqua poi si riesce a sciacquarlo bene. E' meno divertente il bagnetto in questa ciotolona rispetto a quello nella classica vaschetta da bagno ma si spreca poca acqua, poco tempo e poco spazio. Very good! La bimba ora ci si alza anche in piedi per farsi risciacquare ed é comoda comunque....aggiorno la recensione ora che mia figlia ha due anni e la uso ancora quando voglio farla rilassare nell'acqua calda. Ci si diverte un mondo.

Produit sympa aprés je pense que mon ptit bout ne pourra pas l utiliser jusqu a plus d un an car c est assez petit mais il ADORE , il peut toucher ses pied il s éclate !!pratique: trés peu d eau environ trois litres dc reste chaude ! personnellement rien a dire niveau praticité pour sortir bébé , pas mal au dos pour maman , pratique a ranger, surtout pour nous qui vivont en camping car ( voyage ) plus de la moitié de l annnée!!! merci

Vraiment la meilleure baignoire pour donner le bain à un nouveau né ! Surtout quand on appréhende un peu ce moment. Ça devient vraiment un moment de plaisir partagé !

Très satisfaite ! Pour mon bébé de 3,5kg. Il a l'air d'être vraiment bien dedans. Elle a un côté cocooning assez rassurant pour bébé. L'eau reste chaude plus longtemps. Il a de l'eau sur tout le corps jusqu'aux épaules donc il n'a pas les pieds ou le ventre à l'air. Je pense qu'il va l'utiliser assez longtemps, au moins la première année. C'est comme un seau ça se remplit et ça se vide très facilement. C'est possible de la mettre dans un grand sac pour prendre l'avion c'est pour cela que je l'ai prise et j'en suis satisfaite.
