Product Description The Shantala Baby Bath is suitable from birth onwards and allows your baby to be bathed in a position familiar to them, as it is similar to the position experienced in the womb. This has a calming and reassuring effect, and makes bath time more pleasurable both for baby and the parent. I have been trying to use this since my baby ...
I have been trying to use this since my baby was 3 months old. She is now 5 months old but there has been no improvement. The base is far too wide, so her back/bum slip forward and her legs fly up, meaning that she needs held under both arms the whole time she is in there. It is very inconvenient because 2 people are always needed to bathe her- one to hold under her arms and the other to actually wash her. There is no way I could fill this up to my daughter's shoulders the way I have seen my friends do with their babies when they use other similar products. I have to fill it so that the water barely reaches her belly button and still, if I dared to let go of even one armpit for a second, she would slip so that the water would go into her mouth. I have persevered with this beyond the point of frustration and will now go back to using an ordinary baby bath.

Great....But..
Great product however my only caveat would be that there is no guide on the side of the bucket telling you to the limit you can fill it to before the weight of the baby brings the water very close to the rim.I know that this is probably a difficult feature to gauge for the product designer but I found that I needed to mark a line with a black marker so that I never over/under filled it for my little one.You'll find that if you overfill it that baby weight and general movement will make the water slosh over the lower rim.Other than that I can't fault this product.

Baby absolutely loves it!!! (and so do I!!!) - hassle-free bath time and consuming a lot less water than previously, very pleased with the purchase! Highly recommended!
