Protects Your Bike
This cover fits a BMW R1250GS (without panniers). It is very well built and it has an under belly strap (which is a bit of a challenge to tie. The edge of the cover is elasticates and there are eyes in the cover to use a lock. It has a space for a solar charger and also for a rear number plate. I use neither feature so I cannot comment. I use a Stormex cover on a smaller bike and have done so for over a year. That cover is as good as new. This is not a cover for travelling as it is big and bulky when off the bike. However, if you value your bike, then this cover is well worth the money.

I've bought these for several years.
Excellent price, equal to the most competitive price I could find but this was even better as with Prime it arrived the following day. This was better than anywhere else. I've bought Oxford Stormex covers for a number of years. They are an excellent product and keep the weather out very well. The inside has a soft lining which does help to protect your bike. It can sometimes rub on the plastics eg screen leading to a dulling of the plastic. This is dealt with by TCut and back to new. The other thing is the proofing starts to diminish after about 8 to 10 months. This is easily remedied by reproofing. I use an excellent product ( also on Amazon) Grangers Waterproof Fabsil GOLD Silicone Concentrate. Lastly the taped joints are a weak point on these covers. The glue starts to fail after about a year. Overall these are fantastic covers.

Great fit on a BMW R1200GS
Much better quality and fit than my last cover from Oxford... Possibly because I had that one so long it fell apart. This one is lovely though. Really nice! I like the Oxford cover range, the stormex ones are the ones to go for, but it's a bit of a pain storing it off the bike or taking it with you as it's bulky, in a luxury padded sort of way. Stormex for home rainex for travel.

Not quite big enough
I bought this in an xl for my fjr1300. If I take the top and side boxes off its a good fit. I should have gone bigger. Very good quality item though. I definitely recommend but go a size bigger.

which is a brilliant idea, together with plastic 'seat-belt' style clasps which ...
This is the second Stormex cover I've owned - the one before lasting over 5 years. So I know for a fact they are resilient enough to withstand all weathers with no probs at all. In fact as I type this, it is snowing outside, but I know that my bike would start on the button thanks to the Stormex keeping the bike dry and a couple of degrees above the ambient temperature. This new version includes a new solar panel pocket, which is a brilliant idea, together with plastic 'seat-belt' style clasps which prevent wind from blowing the cover off of the bike. It's thick and padded and most importantly, heatproof, which is often overlooked as a requirement with bike covers. Believe me, it being heatproof is a very good thing! One thing I would mention though, is that these tend to come up quite large, and the XL size I bought for my Triumph Sprint is a little loose and flappy. But if you have any luggage fitted, I guess it would be just right.

Great cover.
Much better quality than the cheaper covers. The last 3 normal covers I bought lasted about 12 months a piece. This probably cost roughly the same as those previous 3 together, and from the quality I expect to last a lot longer. Fully waterproof and lined. A solar charger pouch and plenty of security holes for chains etc. Seems expensive compared to some others at first glance, but I think it's a wise buy.

Best bike cover
Padded, resilient and yet light-weight. My previous cover (I don't recall the brand), discoloured in the sun and ripped after a year. The material was thin whereas the Stormex is more substantial. I have a large tourer so the review is for the XL / largest size. The straps on the Stormex are conveniently positions and feel very robust. Dearer, but quality worth every penny

Good heavy duty cover. Unfortunately the tape covering the seals lets it down
This is my second Oxford motorbike cover - the last having lasted several years of exposure to the strong southern French summer sun and winter atlantic storms. A good heavy duty cover with a soft interior. I must challenge another reviewer who opined that this cover is too small. It fits my large 1000cc sports tourer with ease. UPDATE - Oct 2018!!!!!!!! Still in the warranty period, it appears that this new cover may not be up to weeks of summer sunshine. After the summer I have discovered that the tape covering the seams is coming adrift. I contacted 'Oxford' and they suggested sending it to them and they would "have a look". Spoke to Amazon, and they agreed to honour the warranty no quibbles. Top marks Amazon. It seems that other reviewers mention issues with the tape.
