I initially ordered an XL but immediately found it very big and very long in the arms. The seller was able to take that one back, it was collected the following morning, and it's replacement, a large, was delivered, also, the next day. This was a great fit, the arms are still a bit longer than I would have liked, but, for the price and general fantastic service, I cannot fault it.

This review is for the StandSafe Men's HV012 Hi Vis Two Tone Parka Traffic Jacket Waterproof Padded Winter Coat Work Unisex Reflective High Visibility Executive Hi Viz PPE Safety Workwear (Yellow/Navy, L)£25.16 - £34.48 at the time of review.I went for a large size as I like to wear a thick jumper to help keep me warm when outside, and the large is larger than the normal “large” in a jacket, so there is plenty of room inside. I also don’t need to wear a jumper underneath as it is almost, if not totally, windproof and I was more than warm enough with just a T-shirt.The sleeves are long, but you can fold the edge back by about 8cms before it hits the weakly elasticated storm cuffs, which are themselves about 11cms wide so should accommodate most arms.There are 2 large front pockets with large flaps and a velcro fastened top pocket and one inside as well. Round the back and inside, there is a concealed “poacher’s pocket”, but it is not lined and gives you access to the entire insides of the coat, so I am unsure as to what it is meant for. Looking inside the lining though, it seems a bit loose (to be able to trap air I guess), but it also looks thin and a bit on the cheap side.It is windproof and waterproof and has a small concealed hood to protect you, and being high-vis, you can be seen more easily in the dark. I don’t know how well the materials will stand up to heavy construction use, but as a jacket to keep in the boot of your car in case of punctures or a break down, it will give you an added degree of safety and keep you warm when changing a tyre, for instance.It is competitively priced and I noticed that the largest sizes are currently running a large discount which makes them cheaper again. I think the jacket is reasonable value for money, but there is no wow factor and the “poacher’s pocket” doesn’t seem finished to me, so 4 stars due to this. Still, worth the money though especially if you are only going to use it occasionally, or keep it in the boot of your car.

Fits as expected, comfortable fleece lined collar, love the front phone pocket. I would say that it is more Spring/Autumn that Winter but really happy with it.

This is a really good traffic jacket with loads of pockets plus its nicely lined and soft on the inside.It was a very large size so go for the size that you require as they come up just a little bigger much like you would like for a big jacket like this, I went too large but it’s still amazing.It’s a really bright orange so super easy to see and be seen in as well which makes it nice and safe. then the front has a double ended zip so you can unzip like a normal jacket to put it on but also move the bottom zip upwards if you need to allow space at the waist end of the jacket. then also on the front you have a handy mobile phone sized chest pocket with a Velcro closing to keep your contents safe. You also have two large sized downward facing pockets with Velcro top flaps for keeping any contents in nice and safe and won’t fall out if you move around.Down the sleeves which it’s a great length and have elastic sleeves inside to keep the wind and also dust etc out and no going up your sleeve while also keeping you super warm.The inside has a small inside pocket and a zipped back area to allow access to the two layers in case you need or want to put something in the back of the jacket for protection.Overall, it’s a great jacket and I do love it, perfect for me doing DIY and wanting to stay safe and have lots of pockets for bits. Price needs to be under £50 to keep it great value for money.

The jacket has held up really well through its first winter so far, and I look forward to using it again this fall and winter. I love this Jacket it works great. I love the visibility it gives, and people can see me during the winter months. Some people have mistaken me for someone who works for the city or is an official of some kind. Hilarious.
