Fits well and good sturdy pipe
Why did you choose this product over others?: Perfect for the job. I needed to replace an old and very degraded pipe system, and this flexi pipe made the job much easier for this old lady. No messing around with different bends, fittings and pipes. It arrived timely with all the rubber seals as was needed to fit instantly and did so with no leaks.

Great Flexibility
This was great to use as I needed to have a step change in pipe size. This was perfect for the job. If you wanted the 50mm fitting then you don't have to saw just fit it. To get to the 40mm pipe fitting size it was simple to saw through. The quality of the product is what you would expect, pretty standard. The flexible section seemed well made and fairly easy to manipulate into the right shape and position while not being flimsy. Used it for a while and it is working well, no leaks and no blockages.

More versatile than the standard types of waste trap
Working in a very confined space where it was nigh on impossible to fit the usual compression fit traps. This has worked an absolute treat on two installations I've completed. If it blocks, simply undo the coupling between the sink waste and the flexi tube and tip into a bucket.

Size does matter.
Be very carful of the size of sink waste you want this to fit to. This fits to a 40mm sink waste but modern sink wastes are 32mm so you (like me) will end up having to hunt for a Reducing Ring in reverse, you will want it to go FROM 32mm (modern waste) UP TO 40mm (old wate pipe). After you have formed your U bend the outlet end can be used as is or cut to the smaller size depending on your outlet waste pipe size.

A piece of rubbish.
I’d discounted other reviews regarding the size of this waste extension pipe, hoping that the reviewers didn’t know what they were talking about. It turns out that they did. This is in no way fit for task, it’s way too small and the item description in the advert is inaccurate. Don’t waste your money on this rubbish.

Sturdy PVC. Great product for small spaces.
Great quality for the price. Comes with O ring. Can leave outlet at 50mm or cut (like I had to) to 40mm
