Updated -- installation tip
My original review is below. I had a hard time with installation due to dust and air bubbles. I complained that there was no tool included to remove air bubbles, so when I was trying to eliminate them by pressing them out with my fingers, the sticky side of the protector was exposed to the air too long and I ended up getting a lot of dust particles. Paperlike read my review and sent me a replacement protector and also advised me to use something like a credit card to press out the bubbles. And they explained that they do not include a tool in order to reduce waste since most people will have a card / ID of some sort. I totally support this. I used a card to install the replacement screen and it worked like a charm. The protector is perfect now. I'm not sure why my first one was scuffing, but so far I'm not seeing that problem with the replacement.---Original review:The first screen I installed had so many bubbles in it and seemed to draw in lint from the environment, had to discard. I install screen protectors regularly. With these, you have to lay them down really fast or you end up with lint. But installing fast means you don't have the opportunity to press or the air bubbles and no tool is provided for this purpose. I installed the 2nd screen more to my satisfaction but I'm finding that it scuffs easily despite me storing my ipad in a laptop sleeve and the scuffs don't come off with cleaning. They are not scuffs caused by my Apple Pencil. I have no idea what they are, but I store my other iPad the same way and have never experienced this. I have another iPad for work and I installed a cheaper matte screen protector from an "off" brand and it has none of these problems. I went with the "nicer" protector for my personal iPad, but I feel like I wasted my money on this and will just have to buy another set of cheaper matte protectors. Can't seem to get any customer support since I've "used" these by installing them. Not a fan of wasting $45 plus the cost of protectors that I know will work. Goes to show that marketing efforts don't always equal quality.

So much better than the cheap ones
Okay so I have had the cheap $10 matte screen protectors on my iPad off and on for like a year. I love the feel while writing but the sun glare made it unusable in any direct sunlight. After taking those off when I couldn't see the screen, I decided to spend the extra money and get the "real" paper like screen protector.First off, these are much smoother and feel a lot closer to paper. It still works great to touch and feels nice. Second the glare isn't an issue in the slightest. The cheap one would spread the light through the protector and make the whole thing impossible to see. This one is just as good as the bare screen.Easy to install and it won't scratch. It's expensive but I totally recommend paying the extra for the official one. Once you get it, it's hard to go back to the bare iPad.

Paperlike is a scam / ripoff. You're paying $45 for a $5 protector
They pay more for advertising / paying off YouTubers than they pay for quality materials. My installation experience is below, but first a description of the quality. These are some of the flimsiest, cheapy-feeling protectors I've ever used. Worse than dollar-store brands. This adversely impacts installation. It applies a very strong glaze to your screen which will ruin the experience for anything other than reading books (which cannot possibly be the reason that you bought an iPad Pro). There is no application card, and no instructions, but there is a QR code that you can scan to watch one of the most pretentious d-bags on the planet tell you that you're going to eff up the installation method that he's about to prescribe.Highlights include: "You need to be in a completely dust free room if you want to apply this correctly" (physically impossible), and "If you have any difficulty, feel free to go back and watch this video again because chances are you missed something" (approximate quote; thanks for subtly telling me that I'm to blame for a product that doesn't have sufficient material quality to be installed without defects). The first screen protector had so much static attraction from removing the top protective liner that it came unstuck from the iPad and clung to my arm instead. Could not get it to adhere to the iPad.The second protector took 30ish minutes to apply. Has dozens of bubbles after meticulous application with a credit card (not bubbles caused by dust, surprisingly) and it had some weird crinkles in it that make it look like bubbles when applied. One of my friends had a similar experience, to the point that they went to a different product.Had I known how awful this product is, I'd have stuck with something from TechArmor, which I've never had this problem with.

Very Nice
This product includes two pieces, which is a great value, allowing me to have a backup in case of any installation mishaps. The installation process was straightforward, and the included accessories helped me achieve a bubble-free application. Once applied, the screen protector has a matte finish that mimics the feel of paper, making it perfect for drawing and note-taking with my Apple Pencil. The texture enhances my writing experience, providing a satisfying grip that prevents the pencil from slipping. In addition to improving my writing experience, the Paperlike screen protector also provides excellent protection against scratches and smudges, keeping my iPad screen looking pristine. The anti-glare feature is a standout as well; it significantly reduces reflections from overhead lighting, making it easier to use my iPad in various lighting conditions. The clarity of the screen remains intact, so colors and details still pop, which is crucial for both drawing and media consumption. Overall, I highly recommend the Paperlike 2.1 screen protector for anyone using an iPad Pro. It combines functionality and protection beautifully, making it a must-have accessory for artists, students, or anyone who wants to enhance their iPad experience!
