looks just as good as picture
very well packed took me longer to undo the box than put together very easy to put together start at base then work up, the base is very heavy which makes the lamp very sturdy also has a floor switch handy would have been even better if a bulb came with it could have option to buy one or not then I could have put it on same day would recommend this lamp to anyone even this company took me a while to choose but very happy with my purchase also does look very expensive went to home base for bulbs easy to get and cost me 3.99 for 2 bulbs looks stunning on

Well made, value for money
Previous reviews were helpful as I thought the lamp would have a red colour. It isn’t, as others have commented. It’ s a warm amber. I wanted an uplighter for a corner in a study. Furniture is yew so slightly orangy and lamp tones with it. I have William Morris blackthorn wallpaper on one wall and this style of lamp works, The shade colour and the dark brown upstand complement the colours in the paper. Very heavy, be careful when putting together but straightforward.This was half the price of similar lamps I’d seen.

Beautiful lamp, lovely quality, gorgeous glow when lit, we used energy saving 25 watt for soft glow. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the picture on amazon looks like there is a cream and red colour to the lamp but this came looking more cream and deep amber coloured, still lovely but I wanted it more red. Easy to assemble and once assembled very sturdy. The screw piece to secure the shade is screwed down in the bulb fixture, easy to miss. Would recommend.
