I was a little disappointed it didn’t come with the ring to screw on the top of the ball jar but once you find one and put it together, this thing works great

We love this strainer top that attaches to the standard size mason jar. Sometimes he and I have different cocktails and this little lid does the job (with a mason jar, which is not included). It seals nicely and we love it!

I tried this on a mason jar with a brand new ring and it wouldn't tighten; it was like there was too much material for the ring to get threaded. And I can't get the small lid that covers the spout off. I moved shortly after I got this and once it was unpacked and tried, I was one day late to return. The seller contacted me and asked for my address and a photo and said "this one time" they would send an exchange. I sent them the info and never heard from them again. So, no working mason jar cocktail shaker and no exchange/refund.**UPDATE**A replacement lid showed up in the mail today without any further contact. Now I am the proud owner of TWO shaker lids that don't seal. The gasket is too thick, the threads do not engage. Great idea, poor design.

I got this to include in my camp kitchen. I love that you can flip the lid and it stores in my camp box easily with the shot glass/top inside. However - the seal is a pain to get seated correctly in the lid so that when you shake your drink it doesn't leak. It can be done, but most of the time it leaks some and I just have to deal with it. Wish the seal fit easier.

I paired this with a super cute mason jar for a friend's gift and it was a huge hit! Great quality.

Been really into brown sugar shaken espressos and wanted a shaker for my coffee bar. This one works well and easy to clean. Have had no issue with leaking.

This is well made and has no rust spotting or leaking after repeated dishwashing. But I wish the set also included a stainless steel band in addition to the shaker lid. If you throw your regular band in the dishwasher every time you use this, it soon gets rust spots. So you throw this in the dishwasher, and the band you wash by hand?

We have struggled with countless shiny metal shakers over the years that the lids get stuck, the tops leak, and generally are a pain to work with. This one fits neatly on a mason jar of my choosing and works like a champ! No leaks, easy to install and remove, it doesn’t freeze your hands! Getting more for gifts this holiday season!

Such a great idea, poorly executed. So disappointing, the rubber ring and wide mouth rings will not affix to the glass jar, tried several procedures to affix the rubber ring, including crazy glue… total failure. Beware
