Dehn Al-Oud Perfume Oil - 6ml by Al Rehab

This is very strong and extremely long-lasting, I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. It's a very woody oud scent, so be prepared for a powerful agarwood fragrance all day. I assume the long-lasting illusion comes from the nose's acclimation to the perfume after some time, but it's just the same as all the other al-rehab attar roll-ons. I would recommend to the right sort of person who might like the smell of oud.

The first time I used it, I think I went a bit overboard, not realising how strong a scent it was, since then I have used much less and I am really pleased with it. Very woody scent but I have grown to like it and wear it almost everyday. I would recommend this to someone who likes a strong woody scent. I will buy this again.

It is a good product if you like light oud scent. It is not too strong.

Wonderful fragrance. The Al Rehab perfumes are oil based not alcohol. I found it lasted all day unlike western perfumes.the smell is quite devine if you love Amber, musk, sandalwood etc. This starts off quite a light flowery smell but it doesn't become too heavy. Interested in other Al Rehab fragrances now I've found them I'll be spreading the word.

Lovely, tender and light. of course you need to be careful when you apply the oil, only tiny bit is enough and I guarantee you it will last for almost the whole day. Even my cat loved it as she is usually gets irritated with perfume smell.

Oud comes from Agarwood which is the infected wood of a tree that grows in about 10 countries. Not only is it rare for the wood to get infected it it also now rare to buy the wood due to over-harvesting and habitat loss. This means it is EXPENSIVE. There is no way to get around it. To purchase authentic, pure oud oil will cost you. You only have to look at the increased trade prices to know that. This oil is one of two things- synthetic or oil of the non-infected trees/different trees. I have grown up with and smelled pure oud oil because of my culture and heritage. This isn't it. I really was very curious as to why on earth this was so cheap and i was silly enough to buy it and find out but hopefully it wasn't in vain as i can now give an accurate and honest review. This doesn't smell like the western versions of Oud which truthfully are quite nice and it also does not in any way smell like the real authentic oud. Yes it is a scent you could get used to , i have really tried, but honestly it smells like a very dodgy animals urine. On first smell and after it has died down. My best advice is to invest in and research real oud. Find a good site with information on their harvesters and history. Or go to countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Dubai - buy the Oud from there. Spend the few pounds this oud costs on a bar of soap, a nice candle or a body spray because it will be much more worth while.
