Take it from a skeptic--this really works
It's been a couple of months of use, but I must say, it really works! I bought it as a last ditch effort, as I was fighting a really bad outbreak of folliculitis along my neck line, as well as various places on my scalp. I've attributed to the use of my CPAP mask, as it was occurring where the strap was touching. The dermatologist prescribed a couple of different topical medications, but none of them worked. I also have naturally oily skin. I'd be the first to say that I don't particularly believe that any of the "natural" ingredients that are in this product really does anything--there is no real scientific research that proves any of them are effective for anything, a bunch of hooey for "crunchy" people looking for "natural" solutions. But there is an ingredient in this product that provides real relief and effective treatment. The product image here showing the ingredients do not match what is actually listed on the bottle. See my attached photo. The primary ingredients are basically water, soap, salt, citric acid, menthol and SALICYLIC ACID, something conveniently left out of their photo. And guess what that is--it's used for treating and preventing acne along with other skin conditions, like warts, psoriasis, calluses and corns. It's a mild exfoliant that breaks down a thin layer of skin and germs that live on and in that layer. This is real science, not a bunch of natural extracts that does who knows what, if anything. But, hey, this works in our favor for a change! But not everything has to be about science and efficacy. The other ingredients may have other benefits. The menthol is certainly really nice, providing a wonderful cooling effect and relief from hot, itchy scalp. It's tingly, and I love it. The scent of the shampoo is great--it's mild and not unpleasant, nothing overpoweringly fake, no strong artificial smelling perfumes added--a very gender-neutral scent. It may seem expensive for what looks like a small bottle, but a little goes a long way. Because it doesn't have a ton of fillers like most store-bought shampoos, I find that you only need a small amount to produce the same amount of lather. The key is to massage it onto your scalp, not just wash your hair with it. And once your condition clears up, I find that I only need to use it every other day, or even every two or three days. In two months, I'm not even halfway through the bottle. I hope this was helpful. Give it a shot!

It works great!
Updated review: Excellent product. After the first wash, I could feel that my scalp was smoother and less itchy. I have been using the shampoo for about 40 days now and no bumps or dead skin and zero itch. I put the shampoo on and leave it there for at least five minutes or more while I continue washing. I am not sure why there is no separate area to review the conditioner, because I bought them separately, but the conditioner is also amazing. I’ve been using it for over 3 weeks and my hair is soft and shiny. My scalp is healthy again.

If my hair is my baby (and it is), this set is its nanny.
I have had sores on my scalp that itch and burn and bleed. Id been spraying benadryl on my scalp witch felt like fire and also not good for your hair. My head has been a mess for years. I was using head and shoulders which I thought was helping bc my condition would slightly improve after each was only to have flakes then chunks and itchiness and sores continue getting worse between washes. I saw this and ordered it, in the set of shampoo and conditioner. Im not going when I say three unexpected things happened: 1. When I use super expensive top of the line hair products my hair will feel silky smothe as im rinsing in the shower. It immediately feels and looks nice but the sores are burning and scalp is itchy! When I used the conditioner: immediately my hair was SOFT and silky!!! It was as if I had picked this out for hair (not scalp) benefits!!! My hair is down to my butt in the back. After showering the brush went through its super easy! Having salon hair isn't what I was expecting! 2. My husband ket running his fingers through my hair commenting on how soft it is! Wh8ch i was not expecting! Im 40 so to have my hubs play with my hair again was so sweet ❤️ 💙 💜 3. Sores felt sooo soothed even while still in the shower... immediately soothed. Which I wasnt expecting. 4. And finally what I hoped but wasnt expecting would exceed my expectations: the itchiness not only went away during the wash, but after... and wasnt there the next day or the next one too. ZERO itchiness!!!! 5. These freekin sores! By wash 2... sores are almost totally healed and NO NEW ONES coming in!! So this set... Salon perfect soft hair, immediately helped with all symptoms, husband enjoying hair, itchiness gone even several days later, and sores healed. My father has sores on his scalp and I've already bought 2nd set of products for him. I hope everyone who gets this experiences the same immediate relief and shine that I did!!!

Works for scalp redness but bad for hair volume
Works for red bumps on my scalp. However it doesn’t lathe well and makes me hair have no volume. Perhaps it’s best to use one or two days a week. Not sure if I will buy again.

Best product I've ever used to cure itchy scalp from folliculitis
I rarely write a product review, but in this case it is justified. I have suffered from folliculitis my entire adult life. I have tried every shampoo (Selsun Blue, Head & Shoulders, Denorex, TGel, etc.) as well as prescription antibiotics and shampoos - none of them worked. Then I tried this product. I was skeptical but WOW this product really works! I used it everyday for two weeks and the itching was gone. Then I reduced my usage to 2-3 times per week (alternating with my regular shampoo), and the itching has not come back. You need to work the shampoo into your scalp (I use a cheap rubber scalp brush) and keep the shampoo on your hair for a few minutes before rinsing. The only downside I see is the price (~$20 for 250 ml), but one bottle lasts me about six months, so totally worth it to stop the itching. I strongly recommend you give it a try.

this is what ur looking for if u need itchy scalp and dandruff relief
after the first use my itchy scalp felt so much better. it was relieving because my scalp had been so itchy for weeks and i didn’t know what was going on. after the second use the itch was completely gone and has not returned. it’s been a few weeks now of using this shampoo and i love it so much. it leaves my hair super soft. to me the shampoo smells like vitamins, those big brown ones our moms used to take when we were kids. the conditioner is minty. the shampoo will tingle during the first use and that’s normal especially if u have been scratching ur scalp a lot. the conditioner will help this tingle go away. after the first use i didn't feel any more tingle sensations, probably because i wasn’t scratching anymore. once i run out i will definitely be purchasing more. around 50 bucks for the set but it is worth it. the main ingredient in the shampoo is salicylic acid. walgreens has a cheaper version of this if u need immediate relief although this one worked better for me versus the walgreens one. the one i got at walgreens was 2in1 shampoo condition for around 8$.

Deposits color in white hair
The formula works well but it has turned my white hair yellow. The shampoo is brown. Whatever ingredient gives it that color sticks to my hair the same way a color rinse would. I would have continued to use it otherwise.

Stopped hair fallout
My hair was falling out daily for over a year. Not a little, a lot! Good thing I had a really thick hair all my life. I've always had eczema not always on my scalp but now and then but I read something about when older people lose their hair it's usually from folliculitis. Mind you I have tried everything and I mean everything over the counter DIY you name it I have tried it. Besides taking antibiotics which didn't make my hair stop falling down. This hands down stopped it on day one. I can't say better things about it. I was starting to get bald spots it's growing back. Wish I would have found it a long time ago.. so if you have problems with your hair falling out try this in case, it was a miracle for me

Leaves hair incredibly soft while actually supporting scalp health!
I am very happy with this conditioner. The ingredient list is impressive—especially the combination of Tea Tree Oil and Moroccan Argan Oil—and you can really feel it working. I like to use quite a bit of product (I'm a fan of the pump dispenser for this!), and it leaves my hair feeling really nice and soft. What makes this a standout for me is that it doesn't just condition the hair; I can actually feel it helping my scalp health at the same time. It provides that deep hydration repair without feeling heavy or greasy. If you're looking for something that addresses scalp issues like itchiness but still gives you that smooth, salon-soft finish, this is a fantastic choice.

Works well against itchy dry flaky scalp
Has reduced my flaky dry scalp by a lot, maybe 80%. Better results than any other shampoo I've tried so far, and I can just keep using it, so it's not one of those shampoo's that you use for a few weeks and hope the eczema/flakiness goes away before the end.

Bon produit

Treatment for flaky inflamed scalp.
I purchased this conditioner along with the shampoo because I was at my wit's end. Three months ago, after a trip to the hair salon, I developed a scalp issue from the Colourist constantly rubbing the back of my head with her thumb, checking whether or not the dye was dry. It set off a contact dermatitis situation, which became more & more red & flaky and itchy the more I scratched at it. Then, it became inflamed and weepy. Horrible. I used all sorts of creams, E45, T-gel, Vosene, and even Dettol. I bought this shampoo after reading the reviews and because it said words like Seborrheic Dermatitis & Folliculitis, which I had been reading up on. I washed my hair every day for a week, and it felt great. After just the second wash, I could feel relief from the itching. It's now 2 weeks later, and my problem has gone - all cleared up. It's a lovely conditioner for my long hair & leaves it detangled. It smells fab. It's a little pricey if you think of it just as a conditioner, but it's well worth the money if you see it more like a medical treatment.
