Black IPA what can I say
This tasted like an IPA and looked like a stout. Pretty much what you'd expect. Easy to brew, tasted great. Would buy again.

Great brew. Fantastic hoppy aroma and taste with the body of a stout. Very strong hops with just enough of the dark roasty/malty profiles. First brew I've done that called for dry hopping. That added a very nice layer to it.

The recipe was easy to follow. Just opened my first bottle tonight and it was more than i expected. Tastes is fantastic. I will order again for sure!

36 hours after adding and ZERO activity 😫 Pretty disappointed. Read about the yeast and it is temperamental... I spent the better part of about 5 hours doing all the sanitizing, boiling, etc. I know it's not a contamination or that the yeast was added at too hot of a temperature as I have a laser thermometer back-up and 25+ years of sterile work with DNA cloning and fungal isolate culturing (have a PhD in pathology). I'm going to give it until tonight, if no activity in the morning, I'm going to have to drive an hour away to the nearest brewing store to get new yeast.We'll see? The last beer I brewed was half the price with about 1/3rd the time and came out great...

Expired Yeast Included
The last two kits I bought have had expired yeast in them and the kits themselves were assembled more then a year ago. I had to go to the local homebrew store and buy fresher yeast.

BREWERS BEST COMES UP WITH PLENTY OF GREAT RECIPES. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. THE PRICE IS REASONABLE ALSO BUT UNFORTUNATELY SHIPPING CAN BE EXPENSIVE BUT THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE FOR ME
