I use this in my chicken coop and run. I’ve had it a few months and it’s holding up well. No problems.

the scooper itself is perfect for the super-clumping type litter, and the adjustable length can go far longer than I needed- very sturdy- BUT had to duct tape connectors in place to prevent the shovel from twisting and dumping the load prematurely... can't tighten it enough, period. Just be advised. I couldn't find any other scoops as heavy-duty, so I am keeping it with my modifications.

This product is definitely a keeper. I have 4 cats, which means I have more than 1 litter box, so that’s a lot of scooping. It’s hard on my back to bend over when scooping with a regular hand scooper. I love that this product is long and my face doesn’t have to get right up in the litter box and I don’t have to bend my back at all. I can maintain a healthy distance from the litter boxes when scooping and it is so easy. The scooper itself is sturdy and cleans easily. Now I don’t dread the chore of scooping out the litter boxes.

I bought this for kitty box. I have a back issue and needed a longer handle. It works great and went together without a problem.

I love how long this scooper is and works great for use in my chicken coop.The pole expansion broke shortly after I purchased it and it would not stay in place when I expanded the pole. I had to glue it at the longest length.

A little hard to assemble two opposing knobs need to be pushed into scoop section simultaneously - impossible for arthritic hands. Once assembled (by others) scoop is great. No more bending on sore knees to clean box. Length is fully adjustable and locks into place so no accidental tips or spills, Have not had it long but seems to be very sturdy. Money well spent.

I like this product but I wish the handle would extend longer.

This is great for keeping our coop clean and not removing all the sand and dirt and they love to scratch in. The extendable handle and the scoop are metal and very sturdy. The handle is not long enough for me to be standing up and scooping, but if it were it would just be a sifting shovel and that's not what I purchased. Overall, a good purchase.

Why did I wait so long to invest in this? I've had 4 cats for over 10 years and this may be the single best item I've purchased!If you combine this with a step garbage can, it makes cleaning the litter much quicker and easier! Saves my back, but for me personally I get dizzy from standing up, so bending down to clean out 5 litter bins at least once a day can be a difficult task some days. Now I can clean them all several times a day every day! This combo is also much cleaner since you don't have to touch anything dirty, and you are no where near the litter. And far enough away that you aren't breathing in the litter dust!Pro tip: Having a little air purifier running by the litter bins reduces the dust. I inhale less, the cats inhale less, and things get less dusty in the house. And if you have one with a carbon filter it can held reduce odors. A worthy investment if you or your kitties have asthma!

As I said, it saves my back. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I've swapped back pain for wrist/arm ache. Much better than before, but still tiring.
