Large uppercase letters
Purchased arrived in new condition as stated. The letters are approximately 2” tall and an assortment of letters. The set could do with more vowels as there are lots of the unpopular letters (x, q, z, etc). I had to order another packet in order to spell: nanny, mum, grand-dad and dad). I would recommend this seller.

Good Value pity about the single letters
Too many reviews read like an advertising pamphlet. My reviews are based on my honest opinion gleaned through decades of experiences in a professional occupation, as a consumer, a property owner and raising a family. When I completed this purchase of alphabet letters through Amazon it was being sold for £2.80 delivered. July 2017.I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality to be much better than I expected to find. My original intention was to use them as templates and cut my own figures. That is not necessary. My one gripe is that whilst many have triple of the same character, X 6 letters have only X1 letter each. I would prefer doubles all round. That said, the letters are mainly of comparable height and the main difference being width in letter to letter.Overall, I consider this a good value buy and will probably buy another pack so as to have the double letter situation resolvedThe photos show a selection alongside a 5pence

Simple, clear, easy to use with small kids
My toddlers (18 months) expressed interest in learning letters, and this is the only product I found that uses clear font and capital letters. Clarity and simplicity (no colour, no complicated decorative shapes or shapes of added objects) helps focus and prevents distraction by detail, and allows use in bilingual families. Capital letters differ from each other more than small letters, and are therefore easier to learn (e.g. consider 'b' and 'd', 'p' and 'q' - capitals are much less confusing for the very small child). The letters are light and of good size for little hands to handle (approx. 4.5cm high and 2.4cm or 1inch wide). They can be coloured by marker pens and pastels, so kids can learn through play i.e. handling and colouring the letters. I intend to buy the number set too. The numbers of individual letters within the set does not represent their frequency in English language: a possible downside.
